3 INROOM DINING I don t want to be alone, I want to be left alone. Audrey Hepburn We all feel like that sometimes. It may be to work, because there s something good on TV or to be with each other but, whatever the reason, you have to take a leaf out of the book of Virginia Wolf that other great source of intelligent oneliners and dine well. And so we ve put together a menu that we hope shows a little bit of thought, a deviation from the norm; it s designed to be comfortable but it may well just take you on a bit of a journey. We ve also avoided the starters and mains cliché to avoid pigeonholing your decisions. You decide what you want and, if you want to specify portion sizes, please feel free. Similarly, we don t want to tell you what to eat. This is a menu for you to select from but our mantra is that if it s in the fridge, it s yours, so feel free to ask. And if we don t have what you want, give us a little bit of notice and we ll happily get it for you. Whatever you choose, bon appétit!
