3 THE PARTY Beautifully lit trees encircling Canada Square Park create a wonderfully festive environment for guests as they make their way past the Ice Rink to our Alpine themed reception bar. Once inside, guests are greeted with glasses of mulled wine, a glowing fire and the quirky decor of our Alpine themed bar. Once all the guests have gathered, we advise wrapping up warm, changing your shoes for skates and heading out to our stunning Ice rink to show off your skating style! Skating under the stars with all your friends is surely an experience not to be missed! After an exhilarating skate, guests are invited back through the Lodge and into the Alpine outdoors for their dining experience! Delicious food is served to guests under a twinkling night sky! Sit back, relax and soak up the kitsch mountain decor! After dinner, guests can enjoy some more Aprés Skate in the Alpine Lodge, as the DJ turns up the tunes and guests hit the dance floor.

5 ENTERTAINMENT Ice Skating Before dinner, all guests are given the opportunity to take to the ice foran hours skating. DJ and Disco Following dinner the dance floor will come alive as the DJ takes to the floor to ensure a constant flow of classic party tunes that are sure to fill the dance floor until the end of the night. 6 THE VENUE Located a short walk from Canary Wharf Underground station in the beautifully lit Canada Square Park, The Lodge at Canary Wharf Ice Rink offers an atmospheric Alpine space for a wide range of parties in both the daytime and evening. Now in it s sixth year, The Canary Wharf Ice Rink continues to delight and entertain all that use it. This year is the first year an event company has produced a Christmas party venue right next to the rink for the exclusive use of companies for Christmas parties! With over 20 years experience in organising and catering for events, they have built an unrivalled reputation for the quality of food, creativity, originality and outstanding service amongst their clients. We will work alongside them to ensure the catering at your party exceeds all your expectations. Please note that the menu below is a sample menu. The new menu for 2010 will be available later in the year and you will be invited to a full menu tasting prior to your event. SAMPLE SEATED DINNER MENU Starter Scottish smoked salmon celeriac remoulade, with a lightly herbed dressing Spinach, feta and leek tart with a salad garnish and herb oil dressing (v) The catering was absolutely fantastic Shell 2009 Main Course Confit leg of duck rosemary creamed potatoes, red cabbage, honey roast parsnips and duck jus Ricotta and spinach cannelloni rich spiced tomato sauce, rocket and shaved parmesan (v) Dessert Chocolate rum truffle terrine, berry compote

11 FOOD AND DRINK SAMPLE BUFFET/ BOWL FOOD MENU Savoury Pork and leek sausages mustard and herb mashed potatoes, onion gravy Marinated Chinese spiced chicken on ginger noodles Roasted salmon on a warm potato salad and pea purêe Moroccan lamb and prune tagine with cumin and coriander cous Vegetable lasagne with basil pesto Sweet Berry and apple crumble with vanilla mascarpone Sticky toffee pudding During service, selections of dishes are served from a buffet point whilst the remaining dishes are served to the guests offering an innovative dining experience.
