2 Summer Cooking School 2014 gr0wing your food experience D Our purpose built Electrolux kitchen holds hands on cooking classes which cater to a variety of abilities. The classes run Tuesday- Saturdays. You may choose to do one class or as many as you like. Themes range from Spanish, Thai or BBQ to name but a few. Classes vary in length from 2 to 3.5 hours. They include a meal at the end & complimentary wine. All you will need to bring is an apron. Ask about our private classes for your next team building event, hens party or social gathering. Groups may be accommodated from 8-30 students and are BYO. What classes are available? Classes are released 4 times a year and reflect the different seasons. Many classes are repeated in addition to new classes being introduced all the time. See the website which is updated regularly with classes that are booked out and new releases. Don t forget to subscribe to the newsletter to be the first to see the schedule as well as being notified of new & discounted classes. How much will it cost? All prices are listed on the class schedule and vary depending on length & produce used. Student adult - which includes the class, meal, wine & recipes. Student concession - Student 17yrs & under. Friend - where a partner or friend of the student arrives at about 8.00pm or towards the end of the class to enjoy the meal & wine only. Vouchers Vouchers are available for that special birthday or thank you present. They may be purchased online or over the phone with a credit card. An open voucher for the cooking school may be bought for any amount ( covers all classes). It is important that the voucher holder subscribes to the newsletter. Vouchers may be redeemed online (if purchased after August 24th 2013). Vouchers are valid for 12 months. How do I book & pay? Bookings will be taken online at com.au. If you have a voucher you may redeem it online (if the voucher was bought after August 24th 2013), otherwise you may phone or us. All we need is the name on the voucher, or order number and your mobile number. Private Classes 3seeds can organise that next hen s party or corporate event for a team-building day. With a min of 8 people you can design a menu to suit your budget & skills. Whether it is a tapas or canapé class to a full 3 course dinner party, we will ensure that not only will you pick up some new skills, but will have a lot of fun along the way. Prices range from $65-$135pp and can be organised during the day or evening. Don t forget your partners may join you at the end for the meal you have prepared. BYO. Why do I need to subscribe to the newsletter? Our newsletter is sent out regularly to keep you up to date on extra classes, special deals & important events. Most importantly you will receive the new cooking school schedules as soon as they are released and as many people have discovered, these classes don t take long to book out. Market sponsored. $25 $15 Sat 11th Sat 11th pm Fish & Salads Nicoise salad with yellow fin tuna on the BBQ, Poached ling fillets with a mango & coriander salad & champagne poached salmon with a mirin & cucumber ribbons Thu 16th 10-12pm Kids Holiday BBQ & salads Chicken & lamb on the BBQ and make seasonal salads to accompany the meat. 6-12yrs. Market sponsored. $25 $15 Sat 18th 11-2pm Thai BBQ Using the BBQ you will make different fresh summer Thai dishes including, marinated chicken breast, Thai beef salad & a prawn salad. Sat 1st Wed 5th Thai Me Up Here you will learn how to easily recreate the fresh flavours of Thailand with chicken, seafood, pork & vegetables using your hand made pastes in a broth, curry & stir-fry. Thu 6th BBQ & Beer The BBQ can be a great place to entertain and cook more than just a sausage s/w. Here you will cook prawns, a Thai chicken breast & steak to perfection as well as some seasonal accompaniments. Sat 8th 11-2pm. 3 Course Spanish Dinner Party Tapas to start, a Valin lamb & potato tortilla for main, then a Santiago tart to finish. Wed 12th Italian Pasta Making & Dessert This class is about making pasta, spinach & ricotta cannelloni & fresh tomato sauce to accompany the dishes, followed by a pannacotta. Thu13th Fabulous Fish To begin you will learn how to select the perfect fish, then you will steam, pan sear & BBQ in addition to accompanying sauces. Thu 14th Valentines Day. A romantic dinner party for 2. Whether you choose to cook for your partner and they turn up at the end or you both cook together, we can guarantee a relaxed & fun night. You will make canapes with champagne to begin, followed by either a fish or beef for main & a chocolate dessert to finish. $55

Entree of watercress & chickpea soup with rosewater, braised quail with apricots, roasted potatoes with prunes & caramel & cardamon rice pudding. Sat 22nd Fri 28th 11-2pm Duck & Prawn Thai Lunch Here you will learn how to easily recreate the fresh flavours of Thailand with your own curry pastes to make a red Thai curry of duck as well as a fragrant prawn broth. $95 $40 Sat 1st 11-2pm Autumn Desserts Charlotte, rhubarb & apple compote with an amaretti crumble & chocolate fondant pudding $135 $105 Wed 5th Japanese This is one of our favourite classes. Fragrant miso broth, tempura seafood & vegetables as well as teriyaki beef with an artichoke & wasabi pate. Thu 6th 3 Course Spanish Dinner Party Tapas to start, a Valin lamb & potato tortilla for main, then a Santiago tart to finish. Wed 12th Thai Me Up Here you will learn how to easily recreate the fresh flavours of Thailand with chicken, seafood, pork & vegetables using your hand made pastes in a broth, curry & stir-fry. Thu 13th 3 Course Vegetarian Entree of a beetroot terrine & Spring salad, followed by pan seared mushrooms in mirin butter with a candied lemon & rocket salad, followed by baked apples filled with a fruit compote & topped with an almond crumble. $135 $105 $45 Sat 15th Sat 15th pm Canapes & Bubbly We will teach you how to excite your guest s appetite with beautiful works of art, while sipping a glass of champagne. This class is not only about combining great flavours, but creating beautiful sculptural pieces. You will make a selection of 4 canapes. $125 $100 Wed 19th Beef & Shiraz You will learn how to clean a whole beef fillet and then cook it to perfection with 2 different sauces, as well as a standing rib roast & finally a classic beef bourguignon. Thu 20th Italian Pasta Making & Dessert This class is about making pasta, spinach & ricotta cannelloni & fresh tomato sauce to accompany the dishes, followed by a pannacotta.

Sat 29th Sat 29th pm Perfect Pastry This class is about perfecting 4 types of pastry. A sweet short crust for a frangipane flan, a sweet short crust for lemon curd tartlet, a rough butter puff & a savoury short crust. $125 $105 $40 This schedule is subject to change & we reserve the right to cancel classes, but is updated on the web site along with extra classes and availability. Cancellation policy: Payment in full is required to secure your place. No refunds will be given.
