2 ADVERT TET Warehouse Co-ordinator Working with existing Co-ordinators and reporting directly into the Assistant Warehouse Manager you will work to ensure the smooth running of all day-to-day aspects of warehouse operations, whilst managing a small team of warehouse operatives. You will ideally have experience of managing within a warehouse environment and hold current Fork Lift Truck licences. Experience of Health & Safety management, staff workload planning and stock control would also be an advantage. Applicants should note the package includes supervision of up to 109 hours of overtime per year and we operate a three shift system in very busy periods. During less busy times the team benefits from a job and finish system.

3 THE WINE SOCIETY JOB DESCRIPTION Job title: Warehouse Coordinator Department: Warehouse Responsible to: Assistant Warehouse Manager Responsible for: Ensure the efficient day to day management of the production of work through the warehouse including goods in, picking, mixed case make-up, PI count and associated administrative tasks. Main duties: o Undertake recruitment/training/induction/discipline/appraisals for direct reporting staff o Monitor demand and plan warehouse staffing levels with Assistant Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Controller or Inventory Controllers to maximise availability and minimise cost without impacting on service/safety o Be able to manage any of four areas Goods In/Whs2, Whs4, Bottle Pick/Marshalling or Mixed Case make-up and cover for absence/holiday o Plan/minimise space requirements o Maintain stocks/procedures for HMR&C compliance, etc. to agreed levels of accuracy and are procedurally correct o Maintain high standard of housekeeping o Oversee stock transfers to maximise productivity e.g. fast/slow movers in correct areas o Organising, and scheduling bonded and duty paid PI checks (with Inventory Controllers) o Management of bottle pick locations for new list or offer wines (with Assistant Warehouse Manager) o Maintenance of time sheets and back to work interviews in conjunction with Assistant Warehouse Manager/Warehouse and Supply Chain Manager o Daily collation of hours worked per person o Production of figures for the departmental monthly report o Administering equipment maintenance schedule i.e. warehouse rack inspections, FLT maintenance, etc. o Administering Health & Safety checks risk assessments, accident investigations, etc o Pro-active approach to self development and supporting the Warehouse and Supply Chain Manager in achieving his requirements.

4 o Site key holder responsible for locking up the warehouse and taking turn on the on-call rota for alarm call-outs, fire alarms, etc. Additional duties: Support the Warehouse and Supply Chain Manager with daily/monthly performance information for reports Assist in the development, implementation, running and monitoring of processes Responsible for the health & safety of staff and contractors they engage. Ensure staff are adequately inducted and trained to carry out their duties. Responsible for risk assessment of all posts within their department. Conducting accident investigation and identifying and acting on any information received via this process. Keep up to date with legislation affecting the work area and ensure personal protective clothes and equipment provided is checked on a regular basis. Health & Safety: All staff have a responsibility for carrying out their work in a safe manner, reporting any incidents or problems to the Team Leader and taking all reasonable steps to minimise risk to both self and others.
