3 1. TPMS MAIN FEATURES Reduce Driving Risks It was reprted that an astnishing 75% f all running tires in the USA are under-inflated and 70% f fatal traffic accidents were caused by tire blwuts. With a TPMS, drivers are warned f abnrmal tire cnditins befre it becmes dangerus. Imprve Fuel Ecnmy Tday's tire designs make visual inspectin f deflated tires very difficult. Very ften, a 30% under-inflated tire lks very much like a fully inflated ne. A TPMS will make sure yur tire pressure is at its prper level. A 9PSI drp in tire pressure will cause apprximately 4% increase in fuel cnsumptin. INSTALLATION "S" "+ " " M" "-" M S Sensr Lcatin Each sensr has been marked with a psitin number sticker, and sensrs have been prgrammed int the mnitr. Please install the sensrs accrding t the picture belw. Sensr can be re-cded when the sensr s psitin is changed. 5 Mtrcycle TPMS Manual 4-3. Mnitr Installatin The mnitr can be put in the pcket tgether with the mtrcycle key r any ther place yu like. Yu d nt need t check the tire pressure and temperature if there is n alert while driving. If yu need t, please pay attentin t the safety when checking tire data while driving Factry Default Remve the battery frm the mnitr, then press buttn S and + (dn t release) and put the battery back t the mnitr at the same time. The factry default settings will be restred Settings Sequence In standby mde, press the buttn M fr 3 secnds until a beep. Press the buttn M will scrll t the next parameter setting,and press buttn + r - t select the desired unit r value. Press the buttn S nce will stre the parameters. 1). Pressure Unit Setting 4-4. Mnitr Pwer n/ff Setting In standby mde, press the buttn "-" fr 3 secnds, the mnitr will issue a beep and turn ff. The same methd can turn n mnitr. 5. PARAMETER SETTING 5-1. Factry Parameter Pressure Unit: PSI High Pressure: 43PSI (3.0 BAR) Lw Pressure: 29PSI (2.0 BAR) Temperature Unit: C r F High Temperature: 70 C (158 F) When the pressure unit icn PSI flash, press buttn + r - t set the desired unit. 2). High pressure alert in the frnt tyre When the frnt tyre icn and high pressure alert value flash, press buttn + r - t set the desired value. 3

6 Mtrcycle TPMS Manual 3). Lw pressure alert in the frnt tyre When the frnt tyre icn and lw pressure alert value flash, press buttn + r - t set the desired value. 7). Temperature unit setting 4). High pressure alert in the rear tyre When the rear tyre icn and high pressure alert value flash, press buttn + r - t set the desired value. When the temperature unit C flash, press buttn + r - t set the desired unit. 5). Lw pressure alert in the rear tyre When the rear tyre icn and lw pressure alert value flash, press buttn + r - t set the desired value. 6). Temperature alert setting When the temperature alert value flash, press buttn + r - t set the desired value ALERTS The sensrs send pressure and temperature readings t the mnitr every 5 minutes, if any reading is ut f the pre-defined values, yu will ntice 4 things: 1. The mnitr will vibrate; 2. An audible alarm(bi..bi...bi...); 3. The green backlight will turn n; 4. The crrespnding icns n the mnitr will flash. Press any buttn t switch the alarm,vibrate and green backlight ff, the flashing icns will nt be turned ff until the crrect pressure and temperature settings are restred t within range.

7 Mtrcycle TPMS Manual 1). High pressure alert When the tyre pressure is highter than the pre-defined value, fr example 45PSI, Yu will ntice 4 things same as page 4 alerts descriptin. 4). Fast leakage alert The sensr will send data immediately t the mnitr when there is a fast leakage. yu will ntice 4 things same as page 4 alerts descriptin. e.g.: When the frnt tyre pressure suddenly drps frm 36 PSI t 19 PSI, the fast leakage alert is as fllwing: 2). Lw pressure alert When the tyre pressure is lwer than the pre-defined value, fr example 28PSI, Yu will ntice 4 things same as page 4 alerts descriptin. 3). High temperature alert When the tyre temperature is higher than the pre-defined value, fr example 72 C, yu will ntice 4 things same as page 4 alerts descriptin. 5). Sensr lw battery alert The sensr will send data immediately t the mnitr when the sensr is lw battery yu will ntice 4 things same as page 4 alerts descriptin. e.g.: When the frnt tyre sensr is lw battery, the mnitr will alarm as the picture belw: 5

8 Mtrcycle TPMS Manual 7. PROGRAMMING SETUP The sensrs can be re-cded t the mnitr if the sensrs psitin is changed Inflating cde 1. Press the buttn S fr 3 secnds until yu hear a beep. 2. Munt the sensr t the tire. 3. The mnitr will display the sensr ID cde. 4. Press S shrtly will turn t anther tyre. 5. Repeater abve peratin fr the ther tire. 6. The mnitr will exit t standby mde if there is n peratin fr 1 minute. 7. If there is n actin in the mnitr, rtate the sensr upwards r dwnwards fr abut 12 secnds t active the G-sensr Input sensr cde 1. Press and hld the buttn S fr 6 secnds until the SECOND beep. 2. Press buttn M will scrll each byte f the ID cde. 3. Press + r - t chse each byte f the ID cde. 4. Press buttn S will turn t anther tyre. 5. After sensrs ID cde are input t the mnitr, Press the buttn S fr 3 secnds will stre the ID cde. 6. The mnitr will exit t standby mde if there is n peratin fr 1 minute. Nted: The ID cde displayed is ne tyre s ID cde, nt all the sensrs cde. 8. OTHER FUNCTIONS 8-1. Backlighting The backlight will tun ff if there is n peratin r alarm in standby mde. Press any buttn t turn n the backlight, and it will be ff after abut 5 secnds if there is n peratin r alarm Mnitr display In standby mde, the mnitr displays tw tyres pressure, press buttn + will turn t display temperature, It will turn t display pressure screen autmatically after 10 secnds. Press"+" 10 secnds ON 6

9 Mtrcycle TPMS Manual 9. REPLACING THE SENSOR BATTERY When the sensr lw battery icn shws n the mnitr and crrespnding tire icn is flashing, the sensr battery needs replacement. A CR1632 battery cell is recmmended which perates at -40 C t +80 C.user can buy replacement batteries frm lcal dealer. 1. Use the hex wrench prvided t remve the anti-theft screw and take ut the sensr. 4. Replace a new CR1632 battery cell, ensure the psitive+is facing upwards. CR "-" "+" CR1632 Lithium Battery 5. Check that the water-prf rubber seal is in its prper psitin. Screw the sensr cap back n. Water-prf rubber seal 2. Unscrew the sensr cap. 3. Take the battery ut. 7

11 Mtrcycle TPMS Manual 11. CAUTIONS 1. The mnitr shuld be well fixed t avid falling ff during driving. 2. After the sensr installatin, it is highly recmmended t check fr any air leakage. 3. This TPMS can effective mnitrs tire pressure and temperatures but cannt prevent traffic accidents, regular tire inspectin and maintenance is still necessary. 4. After the system is installed crrectly, the driver des nt need t stare at the mnitr all the time while driving. Alerts will be issued when abnrmal cnditins are fund in the tires. *Infrmatin in this manual is subject t change withut ntice. 9
