The in-banner units are 100% customizable - including the interactive panel and skinning the video player - and offer advertisers tremendous creative flexibility on ways to engage with users online. Jivox automatically generates the JavaScript and HTML ad tags and video ads can be easily served on any major ad serving and tracking platforms like DART, Atlas, OAS, AdTech, Yahoo APT as well as ad networks using these ad servers. o Player Customization Options Customization options for the video player allow the advertiser to display 4 social sharing widgets or a custom text prompt, background color and an image on the control bar. The classic player option displays the status bar, play/pause and mute/unmute buttons. The in-stream units can be pre-, mid- or post-rolls within a publishers video content. The interactive panel is 100% customizable - and offers marketers tremendous creative flexibility on ways to engage users online. Jivox in-stream video ads are compliant with the IAB s Digital Video Ad Serving Template (VAST) and Digital Video Player-Ad Interface Definitions (VPAID) guidelines and can be served to content players and ad networks that support the standards. 5 Jivox Interactive Video Ad Creative Specifications Advertisers can easily create a free account on and upload the creative assets into the Jivox platform. Alternatively, assets can be sent to support@jivox.com and our support team will upload them into your account. Once the assets are in the system, the Jivox platform completes the transcoding of the files and gets them ready for online distribution. Following is a description of various assets to launch Interactive Video Ad Units. The usual turn-around for custom campaigns is 3 business days or less. Video The file formats we accept for videos are mov, wmv, mp4, flv, mpeg, mpg and avi. The file size should not be larger than 60MB and no longer than 90 seconds in length. If the video clip is longer than 90 seconds only the first 120 seconds of the file will be uploaded to the ad platform. Alternatively, our creative team (support@jivox.com) can work with you to edit your video assets and help turn them into video ads. We support all resolutions and bitrates but the recommended settings for optimal quality are: 4:3 resolution 300x224, 1 mbps or better 480x360, 1.5 mbps or better 640x480, 2 mbps or better Audio The file formats we accept for audio are mp3, aac and wav. The file size should not be larger than 10 MB and a bitrate lower than 250kb. The recommended bitrate is 64 Kbps. The audio file should not be longer than 90 seconds. If so, only the first 90 seconds of the file will be uploaded to the ad platform. Alternatively, our creative team (support@jivox.com) can work with you to edit your audio appropriately. Images and companion banners The file formats we accept for images are jpg, bmp, gif or png. We recommend the file resolution to be more than 640x480 to ensure clarity with a file size under 10MB. Flash Modules for custom interactions Upload a long form video in.swf file format with a maximum file size of 10 MB. Additionally, upload a custom interactive icon using.jpeg,.jpg,.png or.gif file formats. For best results with custom interactive icons, upload images with a transparent background in png file format with maximum resolution size of 50x Campaign Management The Jivox platform enables advertisers, agencies and media planners to create and run video advertising campaigns on their web properties, or any other ad networks along with all of the specifications required to correctly traffic the ads. Jivox s interactive video ads are certified by Yahoo! and Google therefore Jivox publishers can also tap into Google s display ad network (via Google AdExchange) as well as Yahoo! ad network and run video ad campaigns (300x250, non-expanding in-banner units only) for expanded reach. Jivox also generates ad tags with all of the tracking mechanisms in place so that the video ads can be tracked as soon as the campaign goes live. From a single console, campaigns can also be paused, edited, extended and restarted. The Jivox platform provides a variety of additional distribution options for video ad campaigns in order to get a 360-degree exposure to the brands and products being promoted through online video advertising campaigns and viral distribution options like: Video sharing site campaign - Upload your video to popular video sharing websites like YouTube. Local search and Directory listing campaign - Add interactive video ads into online business directory listings or Google Local/Maps.
