We are seeking an experienced professional with skills and qualifications in the following area: Job # Manager, Records & Information Management Owensboro, KY Position Information: This position reports to the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary and is responsible for the overall direction, leadership, management, compliance and oversight of Company s Records & Information Management (RIM) staff and function. A significant level of independent thought and action, based on experience and sound judgment, is used to fulfill the position s requirements. The Manager, RIM will analyze, propose, oversee the development and implementation of, update and maintain, audit, educate regarding, and report on the effectiveness of strategies, processes, procedures, goals, and policies necessary to provide the protection, accessibility, and lifecycle compliance for Company s physical and electronic records and information; provide RIM leadership including effective policies, processes, and procedures compliant with all applicable legal and corporate requirements; ensure effective oversight and direction for employees in the functional area and employees outside RIM assigned to RIM-related duties Company-wide; review changes to policies and procedures for compliance; oversee and manage legal holds and requests for production of records, documents and data associated with litigation or compliance; oversee educational programs to enhance skills and technical competence of employees responsible for complying with RIM rules and regulations; represent Company s RIM interests externally and internally; remain knowledgeable regarding and apply all applicable laws, regulations, and best practices; and, perform other duties required and/or assigned. The Manager, RIM is expected to set the standard for leadership within the organization, including but not limited to ensuring 100% compliance; modeling an unsurpassed work ethic; possessing unquestioned integrity; ensuring effective employee development through teaching, mentoring, coaching, correcting, recognizing, rewarding, and disciplining; championing change; advocating managed risks; supporting creativity and innovation; communicating effectively; providing support and resources necessary for the successful attainment of the Company s Vision, Mission, strategies, and goals; aligning all actions (personal and departmental) with the Company s Vision, Mission, strategies, and goals; being and holding employees personally accountable; valuing teams and being an engaged, productive team member; identifying needs and responding to them by taking active, rather than reactive, measures; acting in a manner

Primary Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to): Leadership Specific Be personally accountable for performance of employees in reporting area and achievement of area s goals and strategies and teach employees in area to be likewise personally accountable Demonstrate organization s leadership skills and traits as outlined below Serve as role model for Company s Guiding Principles and actively and vocally exhibits behaviors which champion its Vision and Mission Ensure alignment of department goals and activities with corporate Vision, Mission, goals, and strategies Engage in regular, consistent performance management, including coaching, teaching, appraising, and mentoring Execute staff growth plans Position Specific Identify, scope, and lead RIM projects Develop, document, audit, report on, consult about, maintain, update, teach, ensure legality and compliance of, and oversee comprehensive RIM program (including but not limited to taxonomy, lexicon, classification, file plan, record identification, retention schedule, lifecycle management, security, and accessibility of all records and information regardless of media or format) and all associated policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and manuals Oversee applicable SOX key controls Recommend and oversee area s budget Track and understand laws, regulations, and best practices related to or that may impact RIM and implement necessary changes When assigned, function as Company representative in meetings with governmental agencies and industry organizations regarding RIM issues Oversee creation, maintenance, updating, implementation, and delivery of communication and education campaigns to raise RIM awareness and compliance Partner with IT to source, implement, update, and maintain automated RIM applications Oversee selection and management of and negotiation with area s vendors Lead team (teach, coach, mentor, support, manage performance) Assist with preparation of documents for use and storage in physical and electronic formats Oversee record repositories to ensure existing business records are stored in a controlled environment with secure access Develop and perform audits and surveys and implement corrective actions Oversee and manage legal holds, document production orders (including but not limited to subpoenas and FOIA requests), and manage e-discovery processes Oversee implementation, maintenance, education about, and use of OpenText and other electronic records management systems Ensure outside processes and vendors comply with RIM requirements Ensure appropriate management of physical RIM facilities Ensure security, confidentiality and privacy of records and information in area of responsibility Provide advice and guidance as necessary to preserve records throughout their lifecycle in the most efficient and effective media and format, search and retrieve documents (all media & formats), and ensure record production is accurate and efficient

4 Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor s degree 5 years experience as RIM professional Experience developing, planning, implementing, maintaining RIM programs for physical and electronic records, including use of ECM/RIM systems (inputting, managing data and data elements, etc.) Knowledge of and experience with legal holds and document/information production requests Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office, including Publisher Project management Experience applying national records management standards/best practices and applicable laws and regulations (e.g., Sedona Guidelines, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure pertaining to ediscovery, ARMA standards, FOIA, etc.) Experience with imaging technology and digital preservation processes Experience coaching/teaching junior staff Ability to evaluate RIM software and consult with IT on solutions Experience appropriately handling confidential, privileged, and/or proprietary data Experience communicating in a manner understandable to a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds Grammatically correct and proficient written and verbal communication skills Ability to teach area of expertise one-on-one and in small groups Preferred Major in Information or Records Management, Library Science, Law or equivalent business experience ERM, CRM, AIIM, and/or CIP certification Membership in profession-specific organizations (e.g., ARMA, ICRM, AIIM, etc.) Knowledge of ISO Experience with complex filing systems (hard copy and electronic) OpenText; MOSS, FileNet, NextPage experience Experience in mid-size (500 employee) corporation with geographically dispersed offices Working Location: Owensboro, KY Website: Deadline: December 22, 2015 How to apply: If you have qualifications we need, want a job that uses your existing skills and encourages you to develop new ones, provides varied work challenges, and allows you to work with a great group of people, this position might be a perfect fit.
