UPON COMPLETION OF THIS ACTIVITY, PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO: Identify multiple evidence based diagnostic and treatment options for chronic pain. Identify resources within the state of Oklahoma for acute and chronic pediatric pain management services. Describe the role of mechanical dysfunction in the etiology of pain syndromes. Describe therapeutic options for treatment of chronic pelvic pain. Describe how using a comprehensive assessment of the person presenting with chronic pain will itself minimize substance abuse.
