2 On behalf of the Northern California SNMMI We invite you... to attend and participate in the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Northern California Chapter of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. The 2016 meeting program is the first step in addressing last years survey results where attendees would like more credits than have been offered in the past and would be willing to go to a day and a half program, including a portion of a Saturday, to gain up to 12 credits for the meeting. The 2016 Educational Program extends the Thursday meeting from the 6 hours of past meeting to 8 hours. Surveys will be done again if the next step to take the program to 12 credit hours should be taken. Your input is important so please enjoy the meeting. 3 Accreditation ACCME (AMA-PRA): This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Inc. (SNMMI) and the Southeastern Chapter SNMMI. The SNMMI is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Inc. (SNMMI) is reviewing this live activity for a maximum of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. VOICE Statement: The SNMMI, through its Verification of Involvement in Continuing Education (VOICE) program, is reviewing this meeting for a maximum of continuing education hours (CEHs). VOICE-approved credit is recognized by most licensure states and by the NMTCB and ARRT as Category A credit. Participants will receive CE credit for those sessions at which they were present a minimum of 80%. VOICE+ (Category A+) credits will be approved for a limited number of sessions. Please note the NMTCB and ARRT will recognize Category A+ credits. CAMPEP: This educational activity is being reviewed to grant Medical Physics Continuing Education Credit (MPCEC) by the Commission on the Accreditation of Medical Physics Programs (CAMPEP).
