1 Getting t knw yur telephne Alpha-numerical keypad. Start call key /Redial key End call key / Release key. Up and Dwn navigatin keys t navigate within menus, OK key t select menu and cnfirm a chice. C key t erase a character when entering a number r string f characters. This key is als used t navigate back ne menu level. Return t idle screen and quick access t the Call by name feature (ne press in idle mde). Quick access t the phne\'s main features. Mute key: Press the Mute key during a cnversatin t prevent yur cntacts frm hearing yu. Pressing this key in idle mde activates the interphny mde. T adjust vlumes up r dwn. Hands-free/Ludspeaker Key: T make r answer a call withut lifting the receiver. Use als this key t switch headset, handset r handsfree. Access the vice mail feature r the list f missed calls. This key is blinking in case f new message r missed call 5
A wideband ludspeaker fr ptimized sund. LED: Arrival f a new call (Flashing). 60B0 stable ft. When the phne is unpacked frm the bx, the ft is in the 0B0 psitin. T set the 60B0 psitin, pull the ft until yu hear a "Click". One 3.5 mm jack cnnectr (8012 nly). Varius cnnectins t allw phne extensins. One 10/100 Ethernet cnnectin t cnnect t enterprise LAN netwrk (8002 set). 2 Using yur telephne 2.1 Making a call (Cmmunicatins) Use ne f the fllwing: Dial directly the number fr yur call Lift the receiver Enter the destinatin number Hands free Dial the destinatin number Make a call using the persnal phne bk Search by name (yu can als access the search by name feature via the alphapad) T make an external call, dial the utside line access cde befre dialing yur cntact number. 0 is the default cde fr an utside line (By default). In case yur crrespndent is already in cmmunicatin and can nt answer t yur call, a message is displayed n yur phne indicating that yur call is queued. 2.2 Make a call using the persnal phne bk (Directry) Directry (In idle state) / Frm directry (If yu have taken the line) Select yur crrespndent frm the list If yu have taken the line (with the handset r the hands free), the selected crrespndent is autmatically called. Call 2.3 Call by name (Cmmunicatins) Use ne f the fllwing: Cmmunicatins (Press twice) Select the dial by name feature Enter the name f yur crrespndent Select the crrespndent Start the call In case yur crrespndent is already in cmmunicatin and can nt answer t yur call, a message is displayed n yur phne indicating that yur call is queued. 7
2.4 Redial last number Redial the last utging call Start call key Call back the last dialed number Redial frm redial list Lng press n the start call key Select the number t redial frm the last 50 dialed numbers In case yur crrespndent is already in cmmunicatin and can nt answer t yur call, a message is displayed n yur phne indicating that yur call is queued. 2.5 Receiving a call Stp the ringer Use ne f the fllwing: Silent Once Answer the call Use ne f the fllwing: Lift the receiver Start call key Hands free Take call Reject the incming call Use ne f the fllwing: Twice Reject call Deflect a call Deflect Enter the number where t deflect the call. 8
2.6 Interphny When activating the interphny mde, all incming calls are autmatically answered by the phne. In idle state Press the interphny (mute) key When the light assciated with the key is lit (blue), the feature is activated When yur caller hangs up, interphny mde remains active. 2.7 Call lg If yu are away frm yur desk, yu can cnsult the call lg when yu cme back. Yu can cnsult incming calls, missed calls and utging calls. Call Lg Incming calls / Outging calls / Missed calls Once yu have selected an entry, yu can: Call the crrespndent Save the entry in the lcal directry Delete the entry Delete all entries frm the call lg. (When deleting all entries, nly entries f the current call lg are deleted. Example: deleting all entries when cnsulting incming calls call lg will delete incming calls entries nly. Missed calls and utging calls entries wn't be deleted.). Yu can have up t 50 entries fr each type f call (incming, utging r missed calls). Missed calls call lg can als be accessed via the message key:. 9

3.7 Three-way cnference Yu are in cmmunicatin with a first crrespndent. A secnd crrespndent is n hld. Cnference Yu are in cnference mde T end the cnference Use ne f the fllwing: End cnf Hang up On-hk the receiver If yu initiated the cnference, when ne f yur crrespndents leaves the cnference, yu stay in cnversatin with the ther crrespndent. 3.8 Sending DTMF signals During a cnversatin yu smetimes have press dialing keys t send DTMF signals, such as with a vice server, an autmated attendant r a remtely cnsulted answering machine. By default during a cmmunicatin, yur telephne is cnfigured t send cdes in vice frequency: enter these cdes directly using the keys n yur telephne. Fr mre infrmatin regarding this cnfiguratin, cntact the persn in charge f yur installatin. 3.9 Adjust audi vlume During a call, t adjust the vlume f the ludspeaker, receiver r headset: During a cnversatin Adjust audi vlume The selected vlume is memrized fr the next call. The ludspeaker, receiver and headset have each a separate memrized vlume. 12
4 Keep in tuch 4.1 Infrmatin abut the phne ( Wh am I?) Wh am I? Lck yur phne Lng press n the 'OK' key n the phne t activate the lck feature. Press the 'OK' key t cnfirm Yur phne is lcked. A specific message n the phne's screen ntifies yu that the phne is lcked. Unlck yur phne Lng press n the 'OK' key t deactivate the phne's lck feature. Enter yur passwrd t unlck the phne Yur phne is lcked. 16
6 Guarantee and clauses 6.1 Safety Instructins Changes r mdificatins t the equipment nt expressly apprved by the party respnsible fr cmpliance culd vid the user\'s authrity t perate the equipment. Magnets culd affect the functining f pacemakers and implanted heart defibrillatrs.
