1 Feature Cdes Autmatic Callback The Autmatic Callback feature sends yu a pririty ring indicating that a previusly busy r unanswered extensin yu dialed is nw available. Call Frwarding All Calls The Call Frwarding feature temprarily frwards all yur calls t anther extensin. Call Park Puts a call n hld at yur telephne, fr retrieval at any extensin. Use when yu need t g elsewhere t get infrmatin during a call, r whenever yu wish t cmplete a call frm a different lcatin. Als, if the call received is fr smene else, use it t hld the call until the called party can answer it frm the nearest available telephne. Call Pickup Lets yu answer a call at yur telephne fr anther extensin in yur pickup grup. Use when yu wish t handle a call fr a grup member wh is absent r therwise unable t answer. Nte: Yu can use this feature nly if yu and the called party have been assigned t the same pickup grup by yur system manager. Directed Call Pickup If yu can use the Directed Call Pickup feature, yu can pick up a call ringing at a specific extensin withut the persn's being a member f yur pickup grup. Redial The Redial (r Last Number Dialed) feature autmatically redials the last extensin r utside number yu dialed. Send All Calls Temprarily sends all yur calls t the extensin f a persn designated by yur system manager t answer them when yu cannt (perhaps a secretary r receptinist). Use when yu will be away frm yur desk fr awhile, r when yu d nt wish t be interrupted by telephne calls.

Press the Menu buttn and then the sftkey belw Aut Callback (if available n yur display) during the call attempt, Or, Press Aut Callback (if administered) during the call attempt, Or, dial the Aut Callback cde *07. Nte: If yu send yur calls t cverage after activating Autmatic Callback, yur callback calls will still ring at yur extensin and will nt be redirected t cverage. 2. Hang up. Yu hear a pririty ring when bth yu and the called extensin are idle. When yu answer, regular ringing is sent t the called party. 3. Lift the handset when yu hear a pririty ring. Nte: Autmatic Callback is autmatically canceled after 30 minutes. T cancel Autmatic Callback: 1. Press the Menu buttn and then the sftkey belw Aut Callback again (if available n yur display) while n-hk r, Press Aut Callback again while n-hk, r, dial the Aut Callback Deactivatin cde #07.

Dial the extensin r phne number where calls are t be sent. Nte: Sme telephnes have restrictins n where calls can be frwarded (see yur system manager). 3. Hang up. Yu may hear a ring-ping tne frm yur telephne as each call is frwarded. T cancel Call Frwarding: 1. Press the Menu buttn and then the sftkey belw Call Fwd (if available n yur display) while n-hk. r, Press Call Fwd while n-hk. r, Dial the Call Frward Cancel cde #22 while ff-hk. {cnfirmatin tne} Yur calls will nw ring at yur wn telephne.

5 Call Park T park a call fr retrieval frm any extensin: 1. Press Transfer.{dial tne} 2. Dial the Call Park cde *66.{cnfirmatin tne} 3. Press Transfer again. T retrieve a call parked at any extensin: 1. Dial the Answer Back cde #66.{dial tne} 2. Dial the extensin number where the call is parked.{cnfirmatin tne} T return t a call parked at yur extensin: 1. Press Call Park r, Dial the Answer Back cde #66 and then yur extensin number. Call Pickup T answer a call placed t yur pickup grup when yur phne is idle: 1. Dial the Call Pickup cde #77 Yu are cnnected t a ringing call. Directed Call Pickup T pick up a call directly fr smene in yur ffice: Nte: Again, the Directed Call Pickup feature is designed fr cvering calls fr smene while they are away frm their desk. In this case, yu d nt have t be a member f the same pickup grup. 1. Dial the Directed Call Pickup cde # Dial the extensin f the ringing telephne. The called telephne stps ringing. Yu are cnnected t the ringing call.

6 Last Number Dialed (Redial) T autmatically redial the last number dialed: 1. Dial the Last Number Dialed cde *14. The number is autmatically redialed (up t 24 digits). Send All Calls (D Nt Disturb) T send all calls (except pririty calls) t cverage: 1. Press Send All Calls r Send Calls while n-hk r, Dial the Send All Calls cde *33.{cnfirmatin tne} T cancel Send All Calls: 1. Press Send All Calls r Send Calls again while n-hk r, Dial the Send All Calls Cancel cde #33.{cnfirmatin tne}

7 Tnes and Their Meanings Ringing tnes are prduced by an incming call. Handset tnes are thse which yu hear thrugh the handset. Ringing Tnes 1 ring - A call frm anther extensin. 2 rings - A call frm utside r frm the attendant. 3 rings - A pririty call frm anther extensin, r frm an Autmatic Callback call yu placed. ring-ping (half ring) - A call redirected frm yur telephne t anther because Send All Calls r Call Frwarding All Calls is active. Handset Tnes busy signal - A lw-pitched tne repeated 60 times a minute; indicates the number dialed is in use. call waiting tne - One, tw, r three beeps f high-pitched tne, nt repeated; indicates an incming call is waiting t be answered. Number f beeps designates the surce: ne fr an internal call, tw fr an utside r attendant call, and three fr a pririty call. call waiting ringback tne - A ringback tne with a lwer-pitched signal at the end; indicates that the extensin called is busy, but the called party has been given a call waiting tne. cnfirmatin tne - Three shrt bursts f tne; indicates a feature activatin r cancellatin has been accepted. cverage tne - One shrt burst f tne; indicates yur call will be sent t anther extensin t be answered by a cvering user. dial tne - A cntinuus tne; indicates dialing can begin. intercept/time-ut tne - An alternating high and lw tne; indicates a dialing errr, a denial f the service requested, r a failure t dial within a preset interval (usually 10 secnds) after lifting the handset r dialing the previus digit. recall dial tne - Three shrt bursts f tne fllwed by a steady dial tne; indicates the feature request has been accepted and dialing can begin. rerder tne - A fast busy tne repeated 120 times a minute; indicates all trunks are busy. ringback tne - A lw-pitched tne repeated 15 times a minute; indicates the telephne dialed is being rung.
