Yur Bard f Directrs has adpted the Credit Unin Cde fr the Prtectin f Persnal Infrmatin. We have plicies and prcedures in place t prtect yur privacy and yur right t cntrl the cllectin, use, and disclsure f yur persnal infrmatin. WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION? We use yur persnal infrmatin t help us prvide the highest standards f financial service. We cllect this infrmatin frm yu directly, with yur cnsent, and accrding t the terms f the prduct and service arrangements yu have made with r thrugh us. Infrmatin is als btained with yur cnsent frm credit bureaus, ther financial institutins, and frm the references yu prvide t us. Yur persnal infrmatin is cllected fr ne r mre f the fllwing purpses: t verify yur identity; t understand yur needs and eligibility fr prducts and services; t pen, maintain and administer yur accunts and prvide financial services that meet yur needs; t btain credit reprts, evaluate yur credit rating and credit wrthiness, and check references; t administer and manage security and risk in relatin t yur accunts and the financial services prvided t yu; t cmply with legal and regulatry requirements; t assist in dispute reslutin; and t ffer and prvide yu with ther prducts and services f the credit unin and f ur affiliates and service suppliers. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT? The infrmatin we cllect may include, but is nt limited t: yur cntact infrmatin, date f birth, gender, incme, marital status, emplyment histry, financial recrds, Scial Insurance Number (SIN) r ther gvernment issued identificatin numbers, and credit histry.

2 The law requires us t ask fr yur SIN when yu pen an interest bearing accunt. We als may use it t identify yu with credit bureaus and ther financial institutins fr credit matching purpses. Hwever, prviding yur SIN is nt a cnditin f service. WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION? We nly share yur persnal infrmatin with yur cnsent r where we are required r permitted t d s by law. We never sell, rent, r lease persnal infrmatin t third parties. When yu becme a member r pen an accunt with us, yu agree t the terms f ur Financial Services Agreement and an accunt agreement. Bth require yur cnsent t allw us t share infrmatin with ur suppliers and affiliates. We use trusted, reputable suppliers t prvide cheque and statement printing, data prcessing, member and custmer research and surveys, and payment clearing services. We prvide partners and suppliers with nly the infrmatin necessary t perfrm the required services. T ensure cnfidentiality, persnal infrmatin is remved frm market research and survey reprts prvided t the credit unin. We ensure ur partners and suppliers implement security standards fr infrmatin handling that are equal t ur wn, and we require them t prtect yur infrmatin in a manner that is cnsistent with ur Privacy Cde. In the event ur partners and suppliers are lcated utside f Canada, they are subject t the laws f the freign jurisdictin and may be required t disclse persnal infrmatin in accrdance with thse laws. Yur infrmatin is smetimes shared with ur affiliates t ensure we ffer yu a full range f financial prducts and services. Our affiliates are als required t prtect yur infrmatin in a manner that is cnsistent with ur Privacy Cde. T see a list f ur affiliates visit the Partners sectin f r ask yur credit unin. YOUR RIGHT TO ACCESS AND VERIFY PERSONAL INFORMATION Yu have the right t access, verify and update yur persnal infrmatin at any time. Fr mre infrmatin, cntact yur credit unin.

3 The 10 Principles f the Credit Unin Cde fr the Prtectin f Persnal Infrmatin 1. Accuntability: We have designated a Privacy Officer wh is accuntable fr ur cmpliance with the principles f the Cde. 2. Identifying Purpses: When we ask yu fr persnal infrmatin, we will identify the purpses fr which it will be used r disclsed. 3. Cnsent: We require yur knwledge and express r implied cnsent fr the cllectin, use r disclsure f persnal infrmatin, except in specific circumstances as described in the Cde. 4. Limiting Cllectin: The cllectin f persnal infrmatin is limited t the purpses we have identified fr yu. 5. Limiting Use, Disclsure, and Retentin: We will use r disclse yur persnal infrmatin nly with yur express r implied cnsent, r as required by law. We will retain yur infrmatin fr nly as lng as is necessary t fulfill identified purpses. 6. Accuracy: We will keep yur infrmatin accurate, cmplete and up-t-date as is necessary fr the purpses fr which it is t be used. 7. Safeguards: We will prtect yur persnal infrmatin with apprpriate security safeguards. 8. Openness: We will make specific, understandable infrmatin readily available t yu abut ur persnal infrmatin plicies and practices. 9. Individual Access: Upn request, we will give yu access t yur persnal infrmatin, and infrmatin regarding hw it is used r disclsed. Yu are entitled t questin its accuracy, its cmpleteness, and hw it is used. 10. Challenging Cmpliance: Yu are entitled t questin the Privacy Officer abut ur cmpliance with any f these principles. YOUR CONSENT We cllect, use and disclse yur infrmatin nly with yur cnsent, unless we are bliged t d s by cntractual requirements, by law, r in rder t prvide ur financial services t yu. When yu becme a member r custmer, r when yu apply fr a new prduct r service, we will btain yur cnsent in writing. Yu may change, limit, r withdraw yur cnsent at any time by cmpleting the Withdrawal f Cnsent frm n this brchure and returning it t yur credit unin. Withdrawal f yur cnsent t use yur persnal infrmatin is subject t legal r cntractual

4 bligatins. Fr example, yur credit unin is required by law t prvide a recrd f yur interest earning infrmatin t the Canada Revenue Agency. Further, if yu have been granted a credit prduct, yur credit unin is required t cllect and exchange yur persnal infrmatin n an nging basis with credit bureaus, credit insurers, and ther lenders. If yu d nt withdraw yur cnsent, yur persnal infrmatin will cntinue t be used fr the purpses described in this brchure, including disclsure t affiliated rganizatins. QUESTIONS?
