1. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS 1.1. Hardware Requirements Intel Pentium 4-2,4 GHz prcessr r AMD equivalent Free disk space: 250 MB 1 GB f RAM Screen reslutin: 1024x768 r higher, 16 bit High Clur 1.2. Pre-required packages.net Framewrk 3.5 Windws Installer 3.1 MS Access Database Engine 2010 The Telelink installer will dwnlad the pre-requisites if needed and autmatically install them. 1.2.1.3. Cmpatibility limitatins Unfrtunately, due t technical limitatins, Telelink 6 cannt be installed n a system with Office 2010 64Bit versin. Installing Telelink 6 alngside an applicatin that specifically requires MS Access 2007 Database Engine may cause this applicatin t n lnger functin prperly. 2. INSTALLING TELELINK 6 2.1. Starting the installatin 2.1.1. Optin 1: Installatin frm the Telelink 6 website G t the Telelink 6 website: https://dwnlad.ing.be/telelink6/ and click n Install. There yu will find a link t dwnlad the Telelink 6 installer. After dwnlading the Telelink6 installer (setup.exe), run the file. The installer will start the Telelink 6 installatin prcess. 2.1.2. Optin 2: Installatin frm a Telelink 6 USB stick Plug the Telelink 6 USB stick int yur PC and brwse t the stick. Yu will see a file named setup.exe. Duble-click the file t start the Telelink6 installatin prcess. 2.2. Installatin f the pre-requisites This is the first step f the Telelink 6 setup. The Telelink 6 installer will detect if yur system has all the required packages (see 1.2.1.2) installed. If yu have started the installatin via the Telelink 6 website, the installer will dwnlad all required packages and autmatically install them. This may take a few minutes depending n the speed f yur internet cnnectin. If yu have started the installatin via the Telelink 6 USB stick, all the prerequisites are cnveniently lcated n the USB stick and will be autmatically installed by the Telelink 6 installer. Telelink 6 pre-requisite verificatin in case f an upgrade f a previus installatin: Nte: The Telelink Offline 6 Installatin Utility will nly be installed when upgrading frm a previus Telelink 6 versin. After clicking Install, the Telelink 6 setup will install all the pre-requisites autmatically. Please wait, this may take up t a few minutes depending n the speed f yur PC. 2.3. Upgrading frm a Telelink 5 versin In case yu are upgrading frm Telelink Offline 5 t Telelink 6, yu will have t perfrm a new installatin f Telelink 6 (please fllw step 2.5 fr the installatin and step 3 fr the cnfiguratin). During the First Time Use (step 3) yu will have the pprtunity t imprt yur Telelink 5 data (step 3.8) as well as yur Telelink 5 cnfiguratin (step 3.9) t ensure that yur new Telelink 6 installatin is up and running in n time. 2.4. Upgrading frm a previus Telelink 6 versin In case yu are installing Telelink 6 fr the first time n a PC, yu may skip this step and cntinue with step 2.5. Click n Yes t start the Telelink 6 upgrade. The Telelink Offline 6 Installatin Utility will then uninstall the previus Telelink 6 versin befre cntinuing t the installatin f the new Telelink 6 versin. The prcess will nt delete any f yur data. 2.5. Telelink 6 Installatin 2.5.1. Installatin Welcme Screen The Telelink 6 setup has nw started. Click n Install t perfrm a default installatin. This will install Telelink 6 with the fllwing settings: The applicatin will be installed fr all users n the PC. The installatin flder is C:\Prgram Files\ING\Telelink 6\ The fllwing mdules will be installed: - In case f a new installatin: Internatinal Payments, SEPA CT (Eurpean Credit Transfer), SEPA DD (Eurpean Direct Debit) and the Imprt/Exprt Mdule. - In case f an upgrade frm a previus Telelink 6 versin yur existing mdules will be updated autmatically. Click n Advanced t specify a different installatin directry r select the Telelink Mdules yu wish t install. Please fllw steps 2.5.2 and 2.5.3 fr mre detailed infrmatin. 2.5.2. Chsing the Destinatin Flder If yu have chsen the Advanced ptin in the previus screen, yu will nw be asked t specify the desired installatin directry. The default lcatin is C:\Prgram Files\ING\Telelink 6\. Yu may change this by click n the Change buttn and brwsing fr the desired lcatin r by typing in the full path yurself. Nte: This is nt the lcatin f yur Telelink 6 database files. Yu will be asked later n where yu wish t place these files. 2.5.3. The Telelink 6 Applicatin cntains the fllwing mdules: Payments: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Internatinal, Intracmpany, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Pland, Prtugal, SEPA Credit Transfer (Eurpean Credit Transfer), Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdm. Urgent Payments: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdm. Cllectins: Austria, Belgium, Belgium Cheques, Belgium LCR, Belgium RIBA, France, France LCR, Germany, Italy - RIBA, Italy RID, Luxemburg, Netherlands, SEPA Direct Debit (Eurpean direct Debit), Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdm. Varius: Imprt/Exprt Mdule, Paymul Validatin, ING Reprting+ and VCOM. (The Imprt/Exprt Mdule allws yu t imprt files generated in yur wn ERP package and exprt them securely t Isabel. Telelink will perfrm a hashing cntrl n yur file t ensure yur file has nt been tampered with.) Yu can select the mdules which yu wish t install ne by ne r yu can decide t install all mdules f ne categry (fr instance, Payments). Yu can select the desired mdules by clicking n the name. A menu will appear: Will be installed n the lcal hard drive. This will install this specific mdule n yur PC. Entire feature will be installed n the lcal hard drive. This will install this mdule and all mdules belw n yur PC. This shuld be used when selecting a specific categry like fr instance Payments. Entire feature will be unavailable. The fllwing mdules are default selected: In case f a new installatin: Internatinal Payments, SEPA Credit Transfer, SEPA Direct Debit and the Imprt/Exprt Mdule. In case f an upgrade frm a previus Telelink 6 versin yur existing mdules will be pre-selected. Yu can add r remve mdules depending n yur planned usage f Telelink 6. If needed, mdules can be later added r remved via the ptin Add&Remve Prgrams in the Windws Cntrl Panel. Press Install t start the Telelink 6 installatin. 2.5.4. Installatin n-ging The setup will nw install Telelink 6. This will take a few minutes. 2.5.5. Installatin Finished The Telelink 6 setup has successfully finished installing. Yu may tick the Launch Telelink 6 bx t instantly start Telelink 6 when clicking n Finish. Alternatively, yu can launch Telelink 6 via the Telelink 6 shrtcut that was autmatically placed n yur desktp r via the Start Menu > All Prgrams > ING > Telelink 6. 3. SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION (FIRST TIME USE) When launching Telelink 6 fr the first time n yur PC, the applicatin will guide yu thrugh a number f steps t crrectly cnfigure yur Telelink 6 platfrm. We will explain these steps in mre detail in the fllwing pages. 3.1. First Time Use: Database cnfiguratin In the first screen yu will be prmpted t create a new database r cnnect t an existing ne. Select "Create a new database" if yu have never used Telelink 6 befre. G t step 3.2. Select "Select existing database if yu r a clleague have already used Telelink 6 befre and yu want t cnnect t a lcal r shared database. G t step 3.3. Click n "Next" t cnfirm yur chice. 3.2. First Time Use: New database In this screen yu can select the lcatin fr yur Telelink 6 database. Yu have the ptin t brwse t the desired lcatin by pressing n the buttn. Alternatively, yu can als type in the full path in the Database lcatin field. The Next buttn will light up when yu have selected a valid lcatin. Click n it t cntinue with the setup. Nte: The default lcatin t place yur database files, prpsed by Telelink 6, is in the My Dcuments flder. Everyne using Telelink 6 must have sufficient rights t the selected lcatin t write, read and mdify the database. 3.3. First Time Use: Existing database If yu plan t use Telelink 6 with multiple peple at the same time, yu may pt t place the databases n a netwrk lcatin. Yu have the ptin t brwse t the desired lcatin by pressing n the buttn. Alternatively, yu can als type in the full path in the Database lcatin field. If yu wish t use a shared drive, yu may need t fill in the full lcatin yurself (fr instance a UNC path: \\172.16.0.1\shared\telelink). Nte: Everyne using Telelink 6 must have sufficient rights t the selected lcatin t write, read and mdify the database. 3.4. First Time Use: Cnnecting t the database Telelink will nw autmatically verify the database cnnectin. The Cnnectin infrmatin screen (see example belw) will shw the message that the cnnectin t the database succeeded. Yu can nw press n the Next buttn t cntinue with the sftware cnfiguratin. First Time Use: Select yur authenticatin methd Telelink 6 will nw ask yu t cnfigure this installatin t wrk with Isabel 5 & Isabel 6 r t wrk in Standalne mde. Wrk with bth Isabel 5 & Isabel 6: This ptin will permit yu t exprt yur files frm Telelink 6 t Isabel and send them, using the secure Isabel channel, t ING. This ptin is nly available when Telelink 6 detected an existing Isabel 5 r Isabel 6 installatin: T use Telelink 6 with Isabel 5, please launch Telelink frm within Isabel 5. T use Telelink 6 with Isabel 6, please launch Telelink with yur Isabel 6 secure signing card. If the ptin is nt available, please install Isabel first and then restart Telelink 6. Standalne mde: This ptin will permit yu t use Telelink 6 withut Isabel. Telelink will require an Isabel cnfiguratin file t lad yur accunts when yu finish the sftware cnfiguratin. 3.6. First Time Use: Activate user management (with Isabel authenticatin) Telelink will nw prpse yu t activate user management. This feature will allw c-wrkers cnnecting t the same Telelink 6 database, withut an Isabel installatin n their PC, t lg in t Telelink 6 with a username and passwrd. If yu chse N, everyne wishing t wrk with this Telelink 6 database, must lgin using their Isabel 5 r Isabel 6 secure signing card. Click Next t cntinue. 3.7. First Time Use: Activate user management (with Standalne mde) Telelink will nw prpse yu t activate user management. This feature, if activated, will make sure that every time Telelink starts up, it requires a username and passwrd t cntinue. The first user will always be ADMIN and thus receive all the rights in the applicatin. Only the ADMIN can create additinal users and cnfigure their rles. Clicking Yes will thus enable User Management n this database. Make sure yu remember the passwrd well, as this is the nly passwrd which can reset passwrds frm ther users. Clicking N will disable User Management n this Telelink 6 database. Any user will be able t pen Telelink 6 n this pc withut any lgin r passwrd asked. Last updated: 25/07/2013, V1.2, C.M. Page 15 f 21
Click Next t cntinue. 3.8. First Time Use: Imprt Telelink 5 databases Telelink will nw prpse t imprt data frm a previus Telelink 5 installatin. If yu have n Telelink 5 installatin r yu wish t skip this step, click Next. If yu have a previus Telelink 5 installatin n yur pc r netwrk, click the buttn t brwse t the lcatin f the Telelink 5 databases (default C:\Prgram Files\Isabel\Data\B300\TLLOFF\). 3.9. First Time Use: Imprt Telelink 5 cnfiguratin Telelink will nw prpse t imprt yur Telelink cnfiguratin. This will imprt sme specific cnfiguratin settings t ensure that yur Telelink 6 perates in the same manner as yur Telelink 5 installatin. If yu have n Telelink 5 installatin r yu wish t skip this step, click Next. If yu have a previus Telelink 5 installatin n yur pc r netwrk, click the buttn t brwse t the lcatin f the Telelink cnfiguratin (default C:\Prgram Files\Isabel\Bin\B300\TLLOFF\) - If the default lcatin mentined is nt crrect, perfrm a search fr the file SubSystems.ini. The lcatin f this file is the Telelink Offline 5 cnfiguratin lcatin.. Click Next t imprt the Telelink 5 cnfiguratin settings int yur new installatin. 3.10. First Time Use: Installatin finished Yu have nw successfully installed Telelink 6. The entire necessary cnfiguratin has been dne and yu are ready t start using Telelink 6. 4. TELELINK UPGRADE If yu have upgraded frm a previus Telelink 6 versin, Telelink will migrate its database frm an SQL database t an MS Access 2010 database. This database migratin will be executed the first time yu launch Telelink 6 after installing the Telelink 6 upgrade and will be perfrmed autmatically. Yu will nt lse any data (yur existing SQL database will nt be deleted). 4.1. Database Migratin Lcal Installatin When yu start Telelink 6 fr the first after the upgrade, after a few secnds, the Data Migratin screen will appear. This will remain n 0% fr a few secnds while Telelink 6 takes a backup f yur SQL database. After taking the backup, the migratin prcess will autmatically cpy all yur data t the new MS Access 2010 database after which Telelink 6 will launch. Frm nw n, yu will wrk in Telelink 6 with an MS Access 2010 database. 4.2. Database Migratin Netwrk Installatin If yu have perfrmed an upgrade f a Telelink 6 Netwrk installatin, yu will be guided thrugh the migratin prcess. Last updated: 25/07/2013, V1.2, C.M. Page 18 f 21
4.2.1. Chse the desired database lcatin Please specify where yu wuld like Telelink 6 t stre its database files. Nte: Everyne using Telelink 6 must have sufficient rights t the selected lcatin t write, read and mdify the database. Click Cntinue t prceed with the migratin. 4.2.2. Backup & User cnnected message After yu have specified the database lcatin, yu will be presented with the fllwing warning: Ensure that n ther users are cnnected t the database. They will be able t cntinue wrking, but their wrk will nt be migrated t the new database. Additinally, ING advises yu t ensure yu have an up-t-date backup f the Telelink database. 4.2.3. Database migratin Yu will nw be presented with the Data Migratin screen. This will cpy all the data f yur existing database t the new Telelink database. This prcess is fully autmated. 4.2.4. Database migratin cmpleted Yu have successfully migrated yur Telelink 6 netwrk database t the new MS Access 2010 database. Please infrm all yur c-wrkers t upgrade their Telelink installatin. They will nt be able t cntinue wrking with an lder versin. When they have upgraded their Telelink 6 installatin, their Telelink 6 will autmatically cnnect t the new MS Access 2010 database.
