3 Intrductin Emdat Mbile prvides yu with the ability t use yur iphne, ipad, r ipd Tuch t review yur appintment listing, create dictatins and submit them t yur Transcriptin Cmpany. 4 1. Installing Emdat Mbile T btain Emdat Mbile yu will need t visit the App Stre frm yur ipad, iphne, r ipd tuch. Visit the App Stre, search fr Emdat Mbile, and dwnlad the Emdat Mbile applicatin t yur device. Yu can als dwnlad the Emdat Mbile app frm the itunes Stre. Start the App Stre applicatin Search fr Emdat Mbile Select the Free buttn and the install ptin will display The applicatin will nw install itself Valley Transcriptin Service LLC Page 2

5 2. Starting Emdat Mbile T get started, launch the Emdat Mbile applicatin frm yur hme screen after the installatin has cmpleted. Once Emdat Mbile has started the lgin screen will appear. Enter yur lgin credentials here and press the lgin buttn at the tp right. Lgin Yur assigned lgin name t identify yu as a user. Passwrd Yur persnal secret wrd r string f characters used fr authenticatin. Client : SHS (fr All Gd Samaritan Health Facilities) Remember Lgin If this ptin is n, a ckie will be used t remember yur lgin name n this device. This ckie is nly used by ur site and cntains n persnal infrmatin (just a lgin id). **Please Fllw Samaritan Services Security Plicy Guidelines ** Remember Passwrd If this ptin is n, a ckie will be used t remember yur passwrd n this device. Using Emdat Mbile Hme Screen Once yu lgin, yu will be taken t the hme screen f Emdat Mbile. The fllwing selectins will nw be available: Schedule This selectin will allw yu t review yur appintments, create dictatins and submit them t yur transcriptin cmpany. Preliminary The preliminary flder will allw yu t review and apprve cmpleted transcriptins. Please nte that this flder may be named differently if yur client has changed the name f the flder. Uplads This screen will shw the prgress f any dictatins queued t be sent t the server. Please nte that using the WiFi cnnectin is recmmended. Valley Transcriptin Service LLC Page 3

6 3.1 Schedule Functins The Schedule functin will allw yu t review yur appintment listing, create dictatins, and submit them t yur transcriptin cmpany. In rder t create a dictatin frm an existing appintment in yur list, simply select the patient and yu will be taken t the recrding cntrls. Yu can als create a new dictatin withut selecting an appintment by tapping the + buttn at the tp right. Yu can als brwse thrugh the appintment dates by using the arrw keys next t the date displayed in the gray bar at the tp. New Dictatin Using the + buttn t create a new dictatin will bring up a new dictatin header screen. Yu will be prmpted t fill in the fllwing t create a new dictatin. Patient ID Appintment Date (required) Dcument Type Lcatin (required) Stat Select Dne when yu have prvided the infrmatin t create the new dictatin. The new dictatin will shw up n yur Schedule screen. Dictating Once an appintment exists yu will be able t dictate and uplad it t yur transcriptin cmpany t be transcribed. Simply select the appintment yu want t start dictating and the recrding cntrls will be displayed. The recrd buttn will always append t the end f the dictatin. Valley Transcriptin Service LLC Page 4

7 3.2 Preliminary Functins The Preliminary Functins allw yu t review and apprve cmpleted transcriptins. Frm this screen yu will be able t view transcriptins by selecting them frm the list. Yu can als d the fllwing frm this screen: Frm the viewer screen yu will be able t view and cmplete yur transcriptins. T review the details f the transcriptin yu are viewing, simply click the icn at the bttm right crner. This will display the Patient Name, Patient ID, Appintment Date, Transcriptin ID, Date Dictated, and Dcument Type. Valley Transcriptin Service LLC Page 5

8 3.3 Uplad Functin This screen will shw the prgress f any dictatins queued t be sent t the server. Please nte that using the WiFi cnnectin is recmmended. Nte: It is imprtant the Emdat Mbile applicatin is running while uplading dictatins. If yu clse the applicatin while yu are uplading dictatins the uplad will stp and yu will have t restart the uplad when yu lg in again. 4. Remving Emdat Mbile T uninstall Emdat Mbile, simple exit the applicatin and press and hld the Emdat Mbile icn. The icn shuld display an X n the tp left crner. Click the X icn t be prmpted t uninstall the applicatin. 5.
