Explosives will be brought from magazine to blast site in licensed explosive van under the care of blasters. Sufficient warning signals will be given before blasting holes. Guards will be posted on all roads and paths at least 250 m distance to stop entry to danger zone during blasting hours. Controlled blasting will be practiced to control vibrations and flying fragments. Creation of wide green belt of dense foliage around the lease area and along the road side. Optimum charge will be used, while blasting near office complex/ infrastructure site. Overburden is removed during surface mining. It is not contaminated with toxic components. It is dumped in one part of exhausted mining site & preserved for back filling as top layer soil. 2 to 3 m height and 3 to 4 m width slope angle not than 45 degree from horizontal. to blasting 37. Plan for managing storm water. of garland drains to be provided 38. Plan for managing dust, noise, silt and other pollutants during mining activities reach within the 10 meter area within the premises. No fly rock will be spread/reached on outside of the lease premises as blasting is carried out at the depth of 15-20 meter. The blasting crew is trained and has enough knowledge about consequences of blast. Sufficient warning signals will be given before blasting holes. The blasting shall be carried out during favorable atmospheric condition and less human activity timings. Development of greenbelt along the periphery of the mine site. Guards will be posted on all roads and paths at least 250 m distance to stop entry to danger zone during blasting hours. Generally mining is not carried out during monsoon. Floor area of mine will be kept tapered to run off stormed water at lower level. Storm water will be stored at one deep corner of lower level lease area. Mine is dewatered by means of pumps after monsoon is over for its further reuse in water sprinkling, tree plantation & agriculture purpose. PLAN FOR MANAGING DUST To avoid the dust generation from the drilling operations, wet drilling method will be adopted. Controlled blasting techniques will be practiced. Overcharging of explosive material in blast holes will be avoided. Overburden material is stacked in one corner of exhausted mine at identified place. During loading & unloading, regular spraying of water will be carried out. Due to control blasting emission will be self setting within lease area Water spraying of haul roads and other roads at regular intervals. Provision of dust filters/mask to workers. Provisions of green belt all along the periphery of project site as well as along the road side leading to pucca road. PLAN FOR MANAGING NOISE DURING MINING ACTIVITIES Personal protective device i.e. earmuffs and earplugs will be provided to workers. 4

39. on transportation route & measures proposed for control of fugitive emission during transportation 40. Plan for post mining use / reclamation of pits. All vehicles which create high noise will be avoided. Creation of wide green belts of dense foliage between mine areas. The green belt with species of rich canopy around the lease area and along the roads will further reduce the noise level. Mining activity will be restricted to day time only. Conducting periodical medical check up of all workers for any noise related health problems. Proper training to personal to create awareness about adverse noise level effect. Planned noise monitoring at suitable location in the plant and outside location for proper effective remedial action. Installation of safety barriers in high risk location of internal road/transport corridors. Use of reflective marking on structure, traffic junction and other area with potential for accident Vehicle trips to be minimized to the extent possible by choosing correct sizing motor and pumps in excavation The trucks to be covered with tarpaulin sheets Loading to be done from lower height Water to be sprinkled along haulage roads Plantation to be carried out along the periphery Trucks to have valid PUC PPE to be provided Speed of vehicles shall be maintained Transportation road have enough capacity to transport mining activity. Condition of all trucks will be maintained and its maintenance will be done on regular basis. The abandoned mine site shall be made fully secured with wire fencing or any such methods to avoid falling of animals and loss of lives. Appropriate signage, security and protection measures shall be provided. Mine overburden had been kept on one side in such a way that top soil is preserved for use in further back filling with overburden and plantation overtop soil. The mine over burdens will be back filled fully in part of the mine sites to avoid heaps of such material on one hand and depression due to mining on other hand. The back filled material will be adequately compressed. The rest unfilled area will be adequately wire fenced. 5

41. Provision of fencing the pits in case of use as water reservoir. 42. Plan for green belt development, area of green belt, no. & types of species to be planted and budgetary outlay for the same Proper leveling and adequate plantation shall be done. Preferably locally predominant species shall be selected for plantation. Adequate slopes shall be maintained to ensure that the animal, people can come out without any problem if they reach by chance or fall in abandoned mine. The possibilities shall be explored to utilize the old mines for various purposes such as water reservoir, underground storage facility, solid waste disposal site, etc. that can be beneficiary to society. Mine site will be made fully secured with wire fencing or any such methods to avoid falling of animals and loss of lives. Appropriate signage, security and protection measures shall be provided. To improve the environment of the area it is proposed to the plant trees along periphery of the mine or other available area as per the direction of local authority. 6
