Details thereof (with approximate quantities/rates, wherever possible) with source of information data 5.1 Emissions from combustion of fossil fuels from stationary or mobile sources Yes Mobile sources like diesel equipments used in the process generate gaseous emission, however it is insignificant as the use of fuel is not be considerable. Proper maintenance of vehicles, loading equipments and machineries reduce the diesel consumption and thereby emissions. Source Mobile sources like diesel equipments Mitigation Measures Regular maintenance of equipments Proper calibration of fuel injection pumps. 15

16 5.2 Emissions from production processes Yes 16 Proper air / fuel ratio Timely changing of filters (fuel/oil) Proper maintenance of silencers/mufflers Dust is the main pollutant, which is generated from various sources. There will not be risk of contamination of land and water due to discharge of untreated waste water. However, no untreated sewage will be discharged in the open land causing the contamination to ground water. The waste water generated will be treated in the septic tank followed by soak pit. 7.3 By deposition of pollutants emitted to air into the land or into water Yes During operation phase there will emissions generate from loading and unloading and 19

20 mineral handling, transportation and mobile sources. Dust generation will be controlled by water sprinkling. Hence, no risk of contamination of air, water is envisaged. 7.4 From any other sources There will not be any other sources, which will contaminate land and water resources. 6.0 Is there a risk of long term build up of pollutants in the environment from these sources? t Applicable. 8.
