2 HISTORY 2 Hamodia was founded in 1910 in Eastern Europe by the leading Torah leaders of that time to be the authentic voice of Orthodox Jewry. From its inception, Hamodia was dedicated to speaking for the Torah community. After WWII Hamodia was re-launched in Israel in 1950 as a daily newspaper by Agudath Israel, the international umbrella organization of Torah-true Jewry. 5 Demographics 5 Hamodia reaches a very desirable but otherwise hard-to-reach target market family-centered, communally active, highly motivated consumers.
