Midland Public Schools has svn lmntaris, two middl schools, and two high schools with a total nrollmnt of 7,600., 1301 Eastlawn Driv, Midland MI is situatd on 50 acrs, and th currnt building opnd in Th school facilitis ar in xcllnt condition considring th ag of th building, du in larg part to financial support of thm including a 10-yar sinking-fund (xpird in 2013) and th rcnt passag of a bond proposal for facilitis and tchnology. In addition to having classrooms to accommodat a school population of 1,800, MHS has a mdia cntr with 3 computr lab aras, a littl thatr, a wlding and woods lab, 2 full-siz gymnasiums and a stat-of-th-art fitnss room, 3 prforming music rharsal rooms, svral scinc labs including a stat-of-th-art xploratorium, 2 larg art rooms, and 7 computr labs. Education is strongly supportd in th ara, which is du in part to th high numbr of rsidnts who possss collg dgrs, many with advancd and profssional dgrs. is a comprhnsiv four-yar public high school with approximatly 1400 studnts. During th past thr yars, w hav xprincd an incras in th numbr of studnts who ar at risk for crtain bhaviors. Th numbr of studnts who qualify for fr and rducd lunchs has also incrasd to about a quartr of our population. Approximatly 74% of our studnts apply to a four-yar collg/univrsity and 22% to a two-yar collg/univrsity.
