1 GOLF CLUB INFORMATION PACK GROUP GOLF INFORMATION PACK Course Nudgee Golf Club is a unique golf complex situated on the north side of Brisbane and is just 12 kilometres from the CBD. Nudgee is ideally located on the Gateway Arterial, and just 10 minutes from Brisbane s Domestic & International airports. There is ample accommodation within a 5 minute drive from the club. Our club boasts an 18 hole North Golf course (Members) being a Par 71 and measuring 5988m and a temporary South Golf course. You will find our 300m Driving Range and three putting greens ideal for perfecting your game before hitting the fairways.

6 Rules and Conditions 1. BOOKINGS AND CONFIRMATION Organisers must re confirm player and catering numbers at least 14 days prior to the booking date allocated. The organiser shall be responsible to make payment for the number of players present. Payment for catering and green fees is for the number of participants confirmed 14 days prior to the event. The organiser is responsible for extra payment, if a shortfall of participants occur. OUR OFFICE WILL CALL OR YOU TO CONFIRM PLAYER AND CATERING NUMBERS 14 DAYS BEFORE YOUR EVENT. Note: All group golf days are issued with a Corporate Debtor Number for charges incurred during the event, if you wish for participants to pay individually for certain items, please contact the office to discuss. An invoice will be forwarded to you soon after your event. Payment must be received by our office with in 30 days of the invoice covering letter date. 2. ALCOHOL AND CATERING REQUIREMENTS Nudgee Golf Club/Course are licensed premises. No alcohol or eskies are to be brought onto the premises or golf course unless the items are for prizes presented at the end of the game and then taken off premises. Note: Any alcohol brought onto the premises other than for trophies or awards will be confiscated. 3. DRINKS CART HIRE WET WEATHER POLICY APPLIES Our drinks cart is a specially designed vehicle and is available for hire and includes: Soft Drinks, water, Gatorade Sports, Light and Mid strength Beer, Potato Crisps, Chocolates. Heavy beer and Spirit cans are available only upon request and are kept to a minimum. If the golf course is too wet for motorised carts, this rule will also apply to the drink cart. 4. ON COURSE BANNERS or SIGNS Banners for advertising purposes must be delivered to our reception desk at least 2 working days before your event and collected within 1 week of the event. Contact address for our reception is: Nudgee Golf Club Office 1207 Nudgee Road NUDGEE, QLD Each banner will incur a $20 set up and dismantle fee charged to your corporate account. Banners not collected within a reasonable time will be disposed off. Nudgee Golf Club does not accept responsibility for banners or signs. If you would like banners in a particular position on the golf course, you MUST provide our office with a detailed list of the banner name and its position on the course. Banners are put up on the morning of the

7 event and taken down the following day by our course staff and returned to our office the next working day ready for collection. 5. CLUB HIRE / MOTORISED CARTS HIRE Each player must have a set of clubs. The hiring of clubs should be arranged in advance with our Pro Shop. If you wish to hire Motorised Golf Carts, our Pro Shop has 25 x carts available. Nudgee Golf Club would be pleased to source additional carts if more then 25 is required at an additional cost to cover transport, hire and insurance fees of $70.00 per cart. The Pro Shop direct telephone number to arrange hire clubs is WET WEATHER / POSTPONEMENTS In the event of inclement weather on your day, Nudgee Golf Club will make the sole decision in the best interest of the course and its members. If carts are being used and our Course Superintendent deems the course unfit for carts your guests will be able to walk the course with pull buggies. If the course is closed by Nudgee Golf Club Inc all efforts will be made to reschedule your day. If the course is playable and the organiser decides to cancel the day, the organiser is liable for green fees, motorised cart hire, equipment hire, and catering expenses. Exceptions to this can be applied in writing to our Board of Directors who will evaluate the situation and respond in due course. 7. CANCELLATIONS If you cancel your golf event within 60 days, Nudgee Golf Club will charge a fee to make up lost revenue on potential golf bookings and clubhouse bookings which may have been enquired about prior to your cancellation. The fee is dependant on which day of the week your event was scheduled, the maximum fee will be $ TROPHY PRESENTATIONS Nudgee Golf Club does not conduct trophy presentations after the game, we will collate the results of your golf day in order from best score card to worst score card and hand the results to the organiser as soon as possible. Nudgee Golf Club will collect NTP and Longest Drive markers from the golf course. Trophies / awards / prizes should be brought to the club at least 1 hour before player registration is scheduled. 9. RESPONSIBILITY Group organisers accept responsibility for their guest s behaviour while at Nudgee Golf Club. THE COURSE MARSHALL AND BAR STAFF WILL MONITOR PLAYERS BEHAVIOUR AND ENFORCE THE RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL LAWS. PLAYERS BEHAVING INAPPROPRIATELY MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES.

8 A maximum of 4 players is permitted per group Motorised Carts must be kept at least 10 metres from the putting greens Sand Bunkers must be raked after use Pitch marks on the greens must be repaired All golfers to carry and use sand buckets to refill their divots 10. GOLF ETIQUETTE / DRESS REGULATIONS The use of non metal spikes is preferred. Correct golfing attire - neat attire including collared shirt on the course and in the Clubhouse Short sports socks are acceptable - no football socks. Track suits are not acceptable. Every player must have a set of clubs. Players must maintain their position with the group in front, not in front of the group behind. The Course Ranger s instructions are to be obeyed at all times. Do not hit until the group in front is out of range 11. RIGHT OF WAY The Ground Staff have right of way at all times.
