2 TOURNAMENT PACKAGE THE COURSE: Country Hills Golf Club is a private 36-hole golf course facility, set in the spectacular hillside of Sandstone Valley, in Calgary, Alberta. The two-course development provides distinctively different and exciting experiences. Tournaments are hosted on The Ridge course. The upper nine presents spectacular views from the cliff tops. The lower nine is heavily influenced by rising cliffs and the winding creek and challenges your game through to an incredible finish. 3 TOURNAMENT COMPONENTS: Our all-inclusive tournament package starts at $175* per golfer. We do not charge any extra fees for set up, clean up or staffing. A deposit ($2,500) is required to hold the event date and becomes non-refundable if the event is cancelled within 90 days of the event. Green Fee - $100 per person Cart Fee - $20 per person Pro Shop Player credit - $15 per person minimum Pre-Tournament meal when golfers arrive options start at $10* per person Tournament Dinner Buffet menu options start at $30* per person *Price does not include 5% GST or 18% gratuity for Food and Beverage items ALL INCLUSIVE TOURNAMENT SERVICES $15 per player credit redeemable for gift certificates, tee gifts or tournament prizes purchased from the Pro Shop Support for tournament planning and onsite coordination for the duration of the tournament day Golf bag drop off and placement on assigned player carts Driving range privileges one (1) hour prior to tournament start Rule and game format assistance Placement of event signage at clubhouse and/or on the course Placement of proximity signage for hole skill competitions Player score card preparation and cart signage Score card tabulation and posting of tournament scores on electronic scoreboard located in banquet venue 3

4 VALUE ADDED TOURNAMENT SERVICES: RENTAL CLUBS available for $35 per set, please let the Event Coordinator know how many you require 7 days prior to the event date LESSON SERVICES PGA of Canada Professionals are available to provide your event with coaching or teaching services. Please speak with the Event Coordinator for more information and rates. TOURNAMENT MERCHANDISE We can do more than prizes for your event. If you would like to have a one of a kind tee gift for your event ask the Event Coordinator. Hole in One Insurance We would be happy to arrange the insurance for your hole in one contest. WHAT YOU AND YOUR GUESTS NEED TO KNOW: All Food & Beverage items must be purchased through Country Hills Golf Club DRESS CODE Unacceptable golf attire includes: metal golf spikes, any denim fabric (blue or otherwise), caps worn sideways or backwards, apparel that leaves the mid-riff exposed, any clothing displaying large non-golf logos, oversize grungy clothing and sloppy t-shirts or sweatshirts. Our staff will refuse service to anybody in violation of the Dress Code HOUSE DAMAGE Tournament participants are responsible for notifying the Pro Shop of any wayward golf balls hitting our neighbours property. If no notification is given to Country Hills then the Tournament is responsible for any damage that occurs. 4

7 TOURNAMENT SPONSOR REQUIREMENTS Country Hills Golf Club offers a variety of options for tournament sponsors looking to offer on course food & beverage during the event. Please contact us to discuss the many possibilities and we will work with you to find the best ideas for your event and its sponsors. Dress Code The dress code applies to all on course sponsors as well as participants. Please make sure all of your sponsors are aware of and adhere to our policy. Country Hills Golf Club reserves the right to refuse access to the golf course to anyone not in compliance with the Dress Code On Course Sponsored Food policy Food holes are available through Country Hills Golf Club (see menu below). However if you have a sponsor interested in providing an on course food hole, please contact us to discuss the terms and conditions of the sponsorship a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the event. Please see the Rules and Guidelines for Sponsors. On Course Alcohol Sponsorship Policy: All alcohol must be purchased through Country Hills Golf Club. We will offer competitive pricing for each product and can source specific and unique products if requested in a timely manner. If a sponsor is from within the liquor industry the sponsor must contact our F&B Manager to obtain product and pricing. 8 BEVERAGE SERVICES Country Hills Golf Club is responsible for all beverage sales and service in accordance with the AGLC and will be the sole supplier of all alcoholic beverages in a licensed public area. We offer a choice of host bar service, where the Host is paying for all liquor consumption, or cash bar service, where individual guests purchase their own beverages. A combination of drink tickets and cash bar is also available. Items such as hot dogs and sandwiches are available as well as a full drink menu. 8

9 TOURNAMENT CHECKLIST So you ve booked a date for your tournament, what next? Here is a list of a few things you should think about before the Tournament. Deposit is required to confirm the date ($2,500) 6 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT: How are you collecting registration information? We can provide you with a template to help you along. Have you considered sponsors for some of the specific aspects of your tournament? Consider sponsors for holes, meals, on course food and drink venues, carts, scorecards, etc. Country Hills doesn t supply hole signage but we will make sure that it gets on the course and we can put you in touch with a company that produces them. Budget? At this point you should have made all of your budget decisions for your event - contact us if you have any budget related questions 1 MONTH PRIOR TO THE EVENT: Schedule a meeting with the Tournament Coordinator at the course to review the arrangements for the day of the event. Be sure to discuss menu selections and dietary requirements of you guests. Have you considered how many additional people will be attending for the meals? 1 WEEK PRIOR TO THE EVENT: Confirm the number of golfers and guests attending the meals 72 HOURS PRIOR TO THE EVENT: Submit the golfer names spreadsheet to the Tournament Coordinator, confirm any last minute changes and deliver any on course signage you might have DAY OF THE EVENT: Check in with the Tournament Coordinator when you arrive and confirm that everything is in place for the event Upon completion of the event be sure to take all of you personal and Tournament related belongings (including signage).
