2 Raising money for your organization or charity?? Run a Golf Tournament!! 1. Sell Advertising at each tee block Signs ads normally sell for $200 - $300 per tee block.. (18 x $300).$ Golf, Dinner & Prizes Ticket Cost per golfer - Add $30 - $40 to the cost of your tournament package. Figuring $30/per golfer x 120 golfers Prizes are a must; you need a great group of people to collect donated prizes. Everyone should leave with a prize. 3. Get it in the Boat Contest Our boat is floating out in the pond, players try to put a ball into the boat. 50/50 Contest - 50% to Charity - 50 % to Person who puts it in the boat. If no one puts their shot in the boat then the charity takes 100%! Cost to Golfer $ (120x$5.00=$600/2).$ Possibly 100%...$ Closest to the Pin Contest You would need to have an amazing donated prize. Cost to Golfer $ $ These next two contests can also be played by your dinner only guests!!! 5. Putting Contest After Golf 50/50 Putting Contest - 50% to Charity - 50% to top three putters. Cost to Golfer $ (120x$5.00=$600/2).$ Fantasy Golf Scratch Cards 50/50 Scratch Card Game - 50% to Charity - 50% to top three players. 3 Things to Remember when Running a Fund Raising Tournament Most of your golfers may not be avid golfers THEY ARE HERE TO SUPPORT YOUR EVENT and to have FUN. Those long golf courses could see your players spending 6-7 hours on the course. Our executive length course will offer a challenging round of golf for the avid golfer but the length is short enough to keep the play to less than 5 hours. This is an appropriate length of time for a charity event. Executive length courses offer lower prices so you can sell out easier and make more profit for your organization.. AND THAT S WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT! AVOID combining golf carts with your golf and dinner.it increases the cost which would mean a decrease in ticket sales..executive length courses are easy to walk. We have included a list of suggestions or ways that your organization can generate funds through the golf tournament. We have had organizations raise up to $10000 for their efforts and their players have had a great time. All contests (putting contest, chipping contest, etc) are run by our staff at NO CHARGE to you! We do NOT charge gratuities! We will work with you to make your event a success!! Prices will vary with menu selection - We offer something for every budget!! Shot Gun Tournaments must start after 1 pm on weekend & holidays. 9 Hole tournament rates are available from our Tournament Organizer. 9 Hole Tournaments are subject to time & day restrictions. Quarry Lakes No Exceptions Dress Code Men, Women & Children must have proper golf shirt with collar. Shorts or skorts must be appropriate length & No cut-offs. Soft spikes golf shoes or Running shoes are required. All golfers must have their own golf bag and golf clubs. No caddies or walkers are permitted on the course. Tournament photographer must be approved by management prior to Tournament Tournaments require a 25% deposit at time of booking. Tournaments must be played rain or shine.
