The beautifully restored 18th Century building has a unique and memorable setting in the heart of the New Lanark World Heritage Site. Its history and beauty can be appreciated by all, and the Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve is perfect for winter walks. Not only is our hotel a wonderful place for a festive celebration, but you can stay over and enjoy the activities going on throughout December in the New Lanark Visitor Centre. Have a look at our fantastic programme of events, which includes the hugely popular Christmas Experience featuring the sparkling Spirit of Christmas ride, Santa s Grotto and exclusive fun-filled pantomime shows. But what would the festive season be without scrumptious celebration meals? Our delicious menus are prepared by Head Chef Linsey Scott and her team, making imaginative and creative use of fresh local produce and seasonal ingredients. We are committed to providing a quality dining experience, and the whole team will strive to provide the very best level of service and hospitality to you and your guests. From festive lunches to our grand Hogmanay Ball, there s sure to be a celebration event which will appeal. The fun and excitement of lunch with Santa is a great day out for all generations of the family, while our party nights are a superb way to enjoy Christmas with groups of friends or work colleagues. Carols by Candlelight is an enchanting evening and really gets you into the traditional Christmas spirit. If you just want to get away from it all over the festive period, our Christmas residential package is the best way to unwind and relax, allowing us to look after you! The New Year residential package is so popular that we recommend you book early to avoid disappointment. In true Scottish style you will celebrate the passing of the old year to the haunting sound of a lone piper, with friends, family and villagers congregating at midnight to welcome in the New Year with the ringing of the New Lanark Mill Bell and a fireworks display.
