To make a booking Provisional bookings can be made by telephone and will be held on an automatic release for 7 days. All bookings must be confirmed with a non-refundable deposit of per person. This must be received within 7 days of the provisional booking. All monies are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be given for lost deposits. Should your numbers reduce, the monies lost cannot be used against wine, drinks or the final balance. Party organisers are advised to inform all members of their party of this policy. Multiple cheques are not acceptable. One organiser s cheque per party. Cheques should be made payable to Thistle Newcastle, The County Hotel. Credit/Debit card payments are also acceptable using the booking form, which must be signed to give authorisation to debit your card. The outstanding balance along with food and wine pre-order for the party must be received no later than Friday 7 th November Any special dietary requirements must be advised at this time. Bookings made after this date will only be accepted with full payment and pre-order. All prices are per person and include hats, streamers and novelties where appropriate. Cancellation policy The management reserves the right to cancel events should minimum numbers not be achieved. We will endeavour to offer an alternative date/ themed event of the same or higher value. Deposits and prepayments are refund-able for events cancelled by the hotel. Food and drink Menu correct at time of print may be subject to changes. Dishes may contain traces of nuts and/or GM food. Alcohol consumed on the premises must be bought from the hotel. Corkage or BYO is not available. Please note Thistle Newcastle, The County Hotel reserves the right to search bags upon entry to the hotel. Any alcohol (also in the form of a gift given on the night) found will be withheld until the conclusion of the event. General information Whilst every consideration will be made to accommodate your seating and room preference, these unfortunately cannot be guaranteed. Parties of 12 or less may be asked to share a table. Parties of 12 or more may be allocated more than 1 table. Children aged 6 12 years of age will be charged for Christmas Day lunch and will be served half portions. Children under 6 years old eat free. Children under the age of 18 years will not be permitted to attend events other than Christmas Day. Bookings for Christmas Day lunch will be taken at 1pm and 2.30pm. Please note that the sit down time will be set at the time of the booking and will need to be adhered to. Bar accounts can be arranged prior to the date of your event with credit card details provided. Only one credit card per booking can be accepted. Health and safety The management reserves the right to ensure that the staff in the hotel are in a safe environment.
