Our Christmas packages offer a festive themed three day escape that provides you with all the features that make this time of year so wonderful. Leave the fuss and bother behind and let us take care of everything for you. The celebrations are designed to keep you entertained whilst enjoying fine food and wines. Dine in our lake view restaurant, take lunch in the brasserie, enjoy a drink in the bar or simply put your feet up in the library, drawing room or Adam lounge. Enjoy a range of entertainment throughout including live music in the bar, a cruise on Lake Windermere (all included), artistry, magic and much, much more Originally one of the Lake District s grandest private residences the Belsfield Hotel now offers 62 sumptuous designer bedrooms including luxurious suites, flexible family rooms and double or twin bedrooms. 4 CHRISTMAS PACKAGE ITINERARY CHRISTMAS EVE Arrive to a warm welcome with festive music from local songsters to set the scene and relax you, as you enjoy afternoon tea. Try your hand at blending your own leaf tea with Pennington s of Cumbria. A champagne reception marks the start of the Celebrations, giving you the chance to meet friends old and new and enjoy handmade canapés before dinner in the Belsfield restaurant with three courses of fine food, with wine pairings available. Throughout the day a caricaturist will be at hand, capturing the celebrations in a quirky way, and providing a fun memento for you to take home. After dinner the quiz of the year takes place in the Adam Lounge for those with a competitive nature! Prior to Santa s arrival join us in a church visit for midnight mass, before returning for hot drinks. CHRISTMAS DAY Wake up to presents from Santa and a hearty Lakeland breakfast; setting you up for the most magical day of the year. Be amazed as our magician performs tricks and conjurations throughout the day and into our Christmas Lunch Extravaganza! Then, take a well-earned rest in one of our lounges, sit back and enjoy the rest of the day. Mince Pies and Mulled Wine will be served at 4.30pm to prepare you for an entertaining and informative guided historical walk through Bowness. After the festive buffet at 6.30, enjoy a movie in our in-house cinema with waiter service to your seat! A range of Board games will also be at hand for those wishing to pursue more traditional pursuits. BOXING DAY Enjoy a late lie in bed and then join us for brunch, served until late. After brunch, meet in the bar for drinks and then we shall head down to Bowness Pier for a private cruise of Lake Windermere and festive picnic. Enjoy spectacular views from the comfort of your heated cabin, and indulge yourself with a glass of champagne. Enjoy Afternoon Tea while trying your hand at blending your own leaf tea with Pennington s of Cumbria. At 6.30 join us for a champagne reception and canapés with live music from our resident singer/pianist. A perfect opportunity to catch up with friends old and new before a four course meal in The Belsfield Restaurant, with paired wines available for each course. After dinner be amazed by close up magic with conjurer Joel Dickinson and enjoy a flutter at our fun money casino with roulette, blackjack and more NEW YEARS EVE Enjoy a late lie in bed and then join us for brunch, served until late. After brunch, meet in the bar for drinks and then we shall head down to Bowness Pier for a private cruise of Lake Windermere and festive picnic. Enjoy spectacular views from the comfort of your heated cabin, and indulge yourself with a glass of champagne. Warm up with a hot toddy back at the hotel and prepare for the evening s celebrations. Begin the night of partying with a champagne reception, followed by six courses of fine food in The Belsfield restaurant, with wine pairings available for each course.
