3 We are Redesigning our Newspaper for Fall A New Look for September! THESHEAF.COM September will mark the Sheaf s movement from a 5 column paper to a 4 column paper. How does this impact advertising? This means that all ads will now be 2.5, 5, 7.5 or 10 in width. (Non-standard sizes will be charged $7.00 per square inch) 10" print area 11" width 15" print area 17" height The Sheaf embraces its status as a student paper by changing its design. That way, the Sheaf can stay fresh, keep on top of trends and teach new journalists not only how to write good stories, but how to create the archietecture of the Sheaf. 6 13.14 Sheaf Ad Information Ad Booking The final deadline for booking ad space is one week prior to the publication date. Should you request any changes to the order after the deadline that would reduce the cost, the Sheaf reserves the right to charge the originally quoted price. Cancellations and changes may be requested prior to the deadline. Should you wish to cancel after the deadline, The Sheaf reserves the right to charge the quoted price of the order. Late artwork will not be accepted. Finished artwork must be formatted in an acceptable digital format (PDF, EPS, PSD or TIFF). Basic ad design services are included in any order, up to a maximum of one hour. If additional design time is required to complete the artwork, charges are billed at $35 per hour, at a minimum of one hour. The Sheaf will notify you if any additional design time is necessary.
