11 AD SPECIFICATIONS Production requirements We accept most formats for online ads including Flash, animated GIF, JPEG, and PNG files. If using transparency in your ad, note the background colour of the site is white. Skins must have 1000px wide white banner in the centre of artwork. All ads should be 72dpi and RGB colour space. Use our production department to create your static online ad at no cost. For an additional cost ($40.00 per hour), we can also build Flash based, rich media ads (please contact your sales rep for more details). Advertising guidelines COPY APPROVAL All advertisements must be acceptable in content and design, at the publisher s discretion. We reserve the right to cancel or remove ads from our site at any time. PROOF APPROVAL All in-house designed ads must have confirmed approval to be used. It is important to note that although we endeavor to ensure the accuracy of our designs, mistakes do occur and the final responsibility for proofing accuracy of this material rests with the client. Your approval of this proof releases Pique of all liability for costs or damages incurred as a result of errors and omissions in this artwork. EDITORAL POLICY Editorial is completely independent from advertising, and no special editorial consideration or commitment of any kind can form any part of the sale agreement. CANCELLATIONS Advertising cannot be cancelled after the ad has been booked. DISCOUNT Multiple discounts will be quoted on request. PAYMENT All advertisements must be prepaid until credit is established. Should advertisers terminate a contract before its expiry date, they will be billed for any ads already purchased.
