3 Prtal versión 1 Quick reference Agfa Servicis Prfesinales Prtal Prerequisites T access the Prtal yu must meet the fllwing requirements. Have an Internet cnnectin and have installed an Internet brwser (Mzilla Firefx, Safari, Internet Explrer, etc.). The recmmended brwser is Mzilla Firefx ( Have installed Java ( Have installed Adbe Flash ( Have a valid username and passwrd t access the Prtal. Quick Reference t wrk with the Prtal Prtal access The prtal access is made via a Web brwser. T access the prtal, perfrm the fllwing steps: Access the prtal page by entering the URL in yur web brwser In the Welcme screen, enter username and passwrd Username Passwrd Press de Enter buttn t access t the system 5

4 Agfa Servicis Prfesinales Prtal versión 1 Quick reference Create a new publicatin If the publicatin with which we wrk des nt yet exist in the system, we need t create a new publicatin. Frm the main screen press the New Publicatin buttn Create Publicatin screen appears. Yu must enter the necessary infrmatin in rder t register the new publicatin in the system. Categry: Shw available prduct categry. Select the crrect categry r leave the prduct unclassified. Number f pages: Enter the number f pages crrespnding t that publicatin. Deadline: Select the deadline time when this publicatin must be finish. Name: Publicatin name that will be appear in the system. Descriptin: Publicatin descriptin. This is a ptinal sectin After create a new publicatin, the system will be sent an t the previusly selected users with this infrmatin. After press the Accept buttn, the system will generate the publicatin and the prduct name will appear in the Prtal main windw. 6

5 Prtal versión 1 Quick reference Agfa Servicis Prfesinales Wrking with a publicatin Once the publicatin is created yu can begin wrking n it intrducing pages, previewing pages that have already been sent, mving pages f psitin, view the FlipBk, submit pages, etc T access the publicatin, click n the name f the publicatin that yu want t edit. The publicatin windw will be shwn Submit pages T submit pages press the Send files buttn. Next windw will be appear 7

6 Agfa Servicis Prfesinales Prtal versión 1 Quick reference Press the Select files buttn n rder t select the files that we want t uplad In the fllwing screen, lcate the directry where yu have stred pages, select the files that yu want t send and click the Open buttn. Yu can select multiple files using the key "shift" r "Cntrl" in cmbinatin with muse clicks 8

If we want t autmatically place the pages in the crrect page hle, befre the extensin shuld have the page number until 4 digits (egg. Interface_24_1.PDF, Interface_24_01.PDF, Interface_24_001.PDF, Interface_24_0001.PDF) In the case f a multi-page PDF, the pages begin t be placed sequentially frm the page listed in the file name The uplad windw displays the files selected fr uplad. If yu want t add mre files, click the Select files buttn. Once yu have selected all the required files, press the Uplad Files buttn t start the uplad. The system will send the pages t the server fr display them in the apprpriate publicatin within the Prtal. 9

8 Agfa Servicis Prfesinales Prtal versión 1 Quick reference Pages already sent Pages waiting fr uplad Uplad status Once the uplad is finish, t clse the windw by clicking the Clse buttn In rder t preview the publicatin statuses after the uplad, press the refresh buttn. Once prcessed the page, when the page number was indicated in the filename, the page is placed in the crrect hle and the system display the page thumbnail. Using a clur cde, the system infrm the status page Orange: Page has arrived and has been placed in psitin. Green: The page has been sent t the Preflight and prcessed withut errr. Red: An errr was fund Assign pages 10

9 Prtal versión 1 Quick reference Agfa Servicis Prfesinales After the pages are submitted, sme pages may nt have been autmatically placed in the crrespnding hle. In this case yu must assign the pages manually frm the Assign windw. Check the Unassigned infrmatin in the publicatin infrmatin panel. In the previus image, Unassigned infrmatin infrm that the system have been received a page and it desn t knw where t place it. Usually this happens when the filename des nt include the page number r is nt in the prper psitin inside the filename In case that exist any unassigned page, yu must assign it manually. T assign page manually press the Assign pages buttn. In the manual page allcatin windw, the system displays the remaining pages t be allcated, preflight errrs and the empty hles inside the publicatin. T see a preview click n the filename. 10 Agfa Servicis Prfesinales Prtal versión 1 Quick reference Select the file that yu like t assign Chse frm the drpdwn menu the hle in which yu want t allcate the page. Only empty hles are available. Press the Assign buttn. After assign, the page disappears frm the list. The hle in the right clumn where the page has been assigned change t green and a cnfirmatin message is displayed. Cnfirmatin message Assigned page Once the allcatin f pages are finish, press the View publicatin buttn t return t the windw that displays the prductin Preview All pages have a thumbnail. If yu want t view the cntent in mre detail yu can d it in a different ways: Placing the cursr ver the page shws an enlarged preview 12

11 Prtal versión 1 Quick reference Agfa Servicis Prfesinales Open a preview windw with a duble click n the page. Mving the muse ver the page, yu can see n the right the zne zmed Cnfirmatin When all the pages have been upladed and the publicatin is crrect, yu must infrm t the printer. 13

12 Agfa Servicis Prfesinales Prtal versión 1 Quick reference When the publicatin is ready t print yu must change the status by pressing the Ok Print buttn. Ding the OK t printing the system sends a message t the prductin manager reprting that the prduct is ready fr printing. If yu press the OK t print buttn a cnfirmatin windw will be displayed. Yu will be sure that the publicatin are crrect because after cnfirm, the system dn t allw t mdify the cntent. Once the prduct is cnfirmed, the system displays the main screen f the Prtal. A message infrms that the cnfirmatin has been sent successfully. 14
