Shok Loding When lod is either moved or stopped, its stti weight is mgnified. Sudden movements n mgnify the stti weight severl times. This mgnifition of stti weight is termed "shok loding". Shok loding poses dnger to equipment nd workers. The effets of shok loding n e instntneous, or they my remin undeteted unless the equipment is visully dmged. Avoiding shok loding requires reful plnning nd knowledge of equipment, suspension, nd lifting prties. Shok loding of equipment nd strutures is usully onfined to lifting nd instlltion, ut nturl fores (winds, erthqukes) n impose shok lods severl times the stti lod. This is why strutures nd suspension equipment must e ple of supporting severl times the weight of the equipment suspended. 4

Ple the pre-ssemled top or middle loudspeker ssemly on top of the ottom (or nother middle) loudspeker, ligning the rigging links with their respetive rigging links on the ottom loudspeker s shown elow. 2. Seure the top loudspeker to the ottom loudspeker with two L70 p srews in the rer, nd two L70 (L50) p srews in the front. Torque ll p srews to 60 in.-ls. Note: Eh hole on the Rer-enter Rigging Link represents 1 degree of ngle for setting the sply. The rows re numered 0, 4, nd 8, inditing holes Use QSC's EASE Fous to determine the proper ngles.
