The London 2014 Show featured over 200 schools and nurseries. 4,000 parents visited over the two days - up 19% on the previous year. At each London Show there are talks to help parents navigate their way through the system. Find out more about the 2014 programme. Education Theatre speakers in 2014 included sector leaders such as the Chairs of HMC and ISC, leading figures in the GSA and the Editor of the Good Schools Guide. The location in Battersea is ideally situated for a school like St George s, which has a strong London market, particularly attracting parents from west and south west areas of the City. The professionalism, attention to detail and solid advertising and promotional campaigns really made this a notable event and no doubt one that is of real value to parents looking for schools for their children. There has been an increase in the number of international schools over the past decade. This trend is because a large number of expatriates moving to Singapore are now younger, with school-age children. Although new schools are opening and existing schools expanding, the expansion has not kept pace with the growing demand. Discerning parents also recognise that the international schools do not match the quality of UK schools. This is a great opportunity to enhance your School s presence in the Singapore market and SE Asia. This year 28 schools exhibited at the Show, including Wellington College, Marlborough College, Bedales and St. Mary s Calne, as well as many others from all over the United Kingdom. Emirates 24/7 News 12/3/2015 reported that there is a growing interest among Dubai parents to enrol their kids in schools in England..the annual Independent Schools Show is a Dubai event that brings together Britain s top independent schools here in the Emirate to showcase their worth. The ISS Dubai Show exceeded all expectations from our perspective and interest was high from a significant number of attendees, parents and prospective pupils. We took notes of interest from several families and have registered a good number for testing for entry into our 2015/2016 intake. On top of this we also have a good number of families keen to visit in May and June and we are really looking forward to showing them Epsom College. The venue was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the organisers our hosts. I am sure, after our first, this won t be our last visit to Dubai with Ben and the team.
