2 We are pleased to invite you to the ELCA Forum This year, we will be holding our forum in three cities, in Zurich on September 11th, in Geneva on September 16th and in Bern on September 18th. Our forum offers an exciting range of topics about simple and user-friendly IT solutions for complex problems of every kind. Thus, among the various subjects: we will talk about migration: as part of the ERP migration of the retailer Manor, we transferred several hundred programs onto a new technological basis; we will talk about architecture: we have created a reference architecture for building successful omni-channel IT systems, which provides our customers with highly available, responsive services on top of their existing systems; we will talk about intranet: one of our customers will report on his experience and on best practices with a dynamic Intranet that offers more productive collaboration across multiple sites; we will talk about methodology: based on a specifi c case, you will discover how to implement an agile approach across large systems, and understand its construction and the balance required for operation while making several weekly deliveries. Then, before lunch, we will wrap up the morning with an external speaker who will deliver some impressive learnings on the theme of «Collective Intelligence» (in Zurich and Geneva) or «Creability how to improve communication and creativity» (in Bern). Customers all have different expectations when it comes to CRM. While buzzwords such as social, big data and mobility pepper current IT discussions, many organisations still wonder how best to implement them for their purposes. A house should always be built on a strong foundation, and in the same way, CRM is becoming the central platform for digital initiatives. Based on extensive experience gained over more than 10 years we present different facets of CRM (B2B, B2C, Social and Mobile) join us and make a CRM deep dive. 10:10 Session 2A Paléo an online presence that rocks. With its new web site, Paléo festival rocks the web year-round. During the concerts, Paléo s web site lives and vibrates to the same rhythms as the festival through live broadcasts, blog posts, photos and videos. After the festival, music fans may immerse themselves in the extensive photo and video archives of 38 years of music festivals while eagerly awaiting the next edition. Yeah! Session 1B ECM backbone building bridges between your applications and end-users. The ECM backbone concept enhances the benefits of your various ECM investments. This means that the available ECM functions can be used, not just in business applications, but also in your service catalogue s individual processes, independent of the ECM technology used. At the same time, they meet data security and compliance requirements. Session 2B Implementation of an agile approach in large systems. The trend is towards migration of legacy applications to the web: self-service for general public, extranets for employees and portals for partners. The Internet confers its own codes that challenge the way IT systems are designed, implemented and governed: 24/7 availability, faster innovation cycles, increased reactivity, mobility, etc. Based on a real case study, this presentation describes a means for understanding the construction of such systems and for unifying the necessary operational stability in a fast-paced world. 10:55 Break 11:15 Session 3A Should you put your collaborative intranet in the cloud? ELCA has evaluated with its customers the relevance of building a collaborative intranet in the cloud based on SharePoint and would like to share the findings with you. We will cover topics such as: motivation and benefits, governance, social enterprises and digital workspace. 12:10 Keynote Zurich and Geneva Collective Intelligence experiencing the wisdom of crowds in a swarm experiment David Rohrmann, Dean of «1492.//School of Business» Session 3B Important data on legacy systems? No need to be frightened of modernisation projects! Outdated IT systems cost not only nerves, but unfortunately time and money as well. According to market studies by Gartner, 70% of all data are stored on outdated legacy systems a source of risk that can be avoided with strategically appropriate and profitable system upgrades. This presentation uses practical examples to show how ELCA approaches this topic and how we can support the modernisation of your systems. 13:00 Lunch Session 1C Threat modelling: how to approach security aspects in IT projects. This presentation explains the procedure for threat modelling, which aims to assess and document security risks and considers a system from the perspective of possible abuse scenarios and attack vectors. Using an example, we will demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of this methodology and how it can be integrated into a company s security governance. Session 2C An architecture for building successful omni-channel IT systems. Customers today are very demanding and expect fast and seamlessly accessible services across web, mobile and other channels, with 24/7 availability. Drawing on ELCA s experience in building omni-channel systems, we have created a reference architecture to provide our customers with highly available, responsive services and user interfaces for their existing systems. Session 3C Big Data, why not give it a shot? Even though the term Big Data is no longer new, how to implement and capitalise on it remains a mystery for many companies. ELCA proposes to clarify this subject and to demonstrate that it is quite accessible without a large initial investment.
