As the first destination for many visitors to the worldfamous Swiss resorts surrounding Livigno, the Airport Shuttle service has an unmissable opportunity to offer travellers online access to a far broader range of local services. Tinext started by developing a flexible online ticket office with a fresh look and feel. Fast and intuitive for travellers, the system also allows agents, such as hotels and tour operators, the ability to track and register their overall sales. Identifying the site as prime internet real estate for capturing visitors to the region, Tinext then added a sophisticated affiliation system. This has opened up major new revenue streams for the Express operator as a source of online referrals for selling ski passes, accommodation and tickets for local tourist attractions. 11 Integrating Ecommerce with ERP at Goldplast Goldplast is a manufacturer of stylish Italian-designed tableware, with a large proportion of its business in supplying durable plastic products to the catering and restaurant sector. The company wanted to bring its B2B business online, allowing resellers to place trade orders and manage their own accounts directly via the web. However, it was clear that the company s consumer-facing Ecommerce solution was not up to the job. Adding a secure login section to the existing Goldplast site, Tinext was able to bring all of the core functionality of the company s MAGO backoffice ERP system online. The result is a sophisticated online channel management system. Resellers can now place orders for their clients directly into the system, with payments then handled through Goldpast s invoicing system. Quoted orders can be placed on standby and confirmed at a later date. Each reseller can manage their own client lists. They can add new customers into the system themselves and have the ability to see blocked accounts where payments need chasing.
