2 Welcome To Our Team! The Meridian Community is an event designed to bring our community together for some fun at the park! In 2015, it will be held at Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park on September 19 th from 10:00am-5:00pm. With lots of inflatables, tsunami surf ride, mini bike races, a climbing wall, the Mascot Dance-Off, games and activities, and performances by local bands, theater groups, and others, the will be the can t-miss event to send summer out on a high note. Plus, new in 2015, we will welcome a new partner at the. City of Trees Real Estate at Silvercreek Realty will host the 1 st Chalk for Change area where amateur and professional artists will decorate the sidewalks of Kleiner Park to raise money for charity. Many more details still to come. The vast majority of activities at the Meridian Community are FREE and that is only possible with the help from a great team of sponsors and partners. 3 Presenting Sponsor For $3,600 you will receive: Your business will become a part of the name of the event in all advertising efforts. Positioned as, Meridian Community Presented by [Your Business Name Here]. $2,600 of your sponsorship dollars will go directly to the cost of a radio campaign which will include on-site broadcasts with Mix 106 (Kate McGwire) and WOW Country (Alana Lynn) and several spots leading up to the event in which your business will be featured. Specific details of radio campaign available upon request. Premium space at the event set aside for you to promote your Three (3) banners with your logo will be produced and hung at the three entrance points. You will have the opportunity to proof banners before final design is approved by Meridian Parks and Recreation. Meridian Community page recognized as the Presenting Sponsor. 4 Main Stage Sponsor For $1,500 you will receive: The event stage will be renamed with your organization/business name at the beginning. All performances during the Meridian Community will take place on the [Your Business Name Here] Stage including the Mascot Dance-Off, local performance groups, and local bands. Two (2) Stage Sponsor banners will be produced and hung on either side of the stage during the entire event. Kids Corner activities will include free face painting, balloon twisters, arts and crafts, costumed characters, etc. Two (2) Kids Corner Sponsor banners will be produced and set up at the front of the Kids Corner area. 6 Food Truck Rally Sponsor For $1,500 you will receive: The Food Truck Rally area will be renamed with your organization/business name at the beginning. Example: [Your Business Name] Food Truck Rally. Two (2) sponsor banners will be produced and hung on the food tent which will be located directly west of the line of food trucks. You will have the opportunity to proof banners before final design is approved by Meridian Parks and Recreation. Additional banners may be hung if provided by sponsor. Meridian Community page. 7 Mascot Dance-Off Title Sponsor The Mascot Dance-Off will take place at 11:00am on the Kleiner Park bandshell stage. Several local mascots will compete to be crowned the Mascot Dance-Off Champion and 1 st and 2 nd Place will receive $500 and $250 respectively to their charities of choice. The contest will also be open to mascots of for-profit businesses, but they must choose a non-profit charity to whom the prize money will be donated should they win. For $750, which will be donated to the winners charities of choice, you will receive: The Mascot Dance-Off will be renamed with your organization/business name at the beginning.
