RiverFlicks Like an urban drive-in, RiverFlicks brings the nostalgia of the outdoor movie setting back to New York City. Hudson River Park piers are covered with blankets, chairs and people of all ages sitting under the stars, watching their favorite movies on the big screen. RiverRocks The concert series, (three (3) performances), showcases today s brightest emerging artists, as well as established favorites. The 2015 Hudson River Park Games The first Inaugural Hudson River Park Games, presented by Friends of Hudson River Park, will feature: The Main Event: The team Pentathlon competition to win the Hudson River Park Cup. Teams of 10 (men and women) compete in five (5) grueling sports. Premium Sports and Activities: Unique, one of a kind opportunities and experiences for individual participation. Fun for all: A festival of activities and programming for all ages with food and beverage. SUBMERGE! 16 Family Programming In addition to the RiverFlicks for Kids movie series, Hudson River Park offers additional programming that provides the opportunity for sponsors to engage the family target audience. The annual Halloween Kidz Karnival gets bigger and better each year! Packed with fun-filled attractions for 2-8 year olds, including face painting, mask decorating, wax hands, cotton candy, rides and more! The Story Pirates bring interactive storytelling to Hudson River Park, taking kids ideas and creating a story on the spot for everyone to enjoy!
17 Pier 40 Athletic Field Hudson River Park s Pier 40 Sports Complex includes over three and a half (3.5) acres of recreation field space that is in very high demand. The footprint features professional size baseball, soccer, football, rugby, lacrosse fields and regulation little league fields used yearround by area schools, youth organizations and adult leagues.
