The 50th conference of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia (HFESA) is being held on 17th 19th November 2014. This event is the prestigious HFESA s 50th Annual Conference where we will come together to celebrate the history of the HFESA over 50 years. The theme of the conference, Then, Now and Beyond, was chosen to showcase the history and contribution of the HFESA into research and practice of Human Factors and Ergonomics as it has been, in current research and to open discussion about research and practice into the next age. Who we are The HFESA is the professional organisation for ergonomists and promoting ergonomics in Australia. As the peak body for ergonomics and human factors in Australia, the HFESA is the only dedicated voice for ergonomics and human factors practitioners, educators and researchers in Australia. Its aim is to advance the science of human factors and ergonomics in Australia by promoting research and education in ergonomics and the application of its principles. The HFESA is a federated member of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA), which is the peak international body of professional ergonomics and human factors organisations. The HFESA has an extensive membership and over 180 delegates are expected to attend this conference. Sponsorship and trade payment cancellation policy All applications must be accompanied with a minimum of 50% deposit where applicable. The balance of the payment must be paid no later than 10 October 2014. Please note that HFESA does not supply sponsors with delegate information. Sponsors are invited to obtain any information directly from delegates, such as business card collection. Cancellation of a sponsorship package must be made in writing to the HFESA Secretariat. All cancellations will incur a fee. Cancellations made on or before 29 August 2014 will incur a fee of 10% of the indicated package. Cancellations made after 29 August 2014 will incur a fee of 50% of the indicated package.
