Technical Capabilities Using state-of-the art translation tools, InterSol, Inc. is able to deconstruct files to separate text from code. Experienced translators work with text only. Translated text is then submitted to our stringent quality assurance process. Finally, the file is reconstructed to match exactly the format of the original file.
CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) Tools InterSol applies technology to the art of translation through the use of various CAT Tools: Translation Memory Project Management Software localization Quality Assurance
Translation Memory It is a database that stores segments, which can be sentences, paragraphs or phrases (headings, titles or elements in a list) that have previously been translated, in order to aid human translators. Stores the source text and its corresponding translation in language pairs called translation units. InterSol creates translation memories and uses them in conjunction with SDL Trados Studio, a dedicated computer assisted translation (CAT) tool. www.intersolinc.eu
How does it work? The translator opens the source file and applies the translation memory so that any 100% matches (identical matches) or fuzzy matches (similar, but not identical matches) within the text are instantly extracted and placed in the target file. The translator then reviews the matches suggested by the translation memory and accepts, modifies or replaces them with new alternatives. Once translation unit is manually updated, it is stored in the translation memory for future use. No matches or new translations are translated manually by the translator and automatically added to the translation memory.
What are the business benefits of using TMs? Quality - Improved consistency of terminology within and across product documentation. On time delivery - Accelerated project completion. Very competitive pricing - Reduced cost of translations we never translate the same sentence more than once. www.intersolinc.eu

Software Localization Tools Greatly simplify and accelerate the translation of user interfaces. Eliminate the need for programming experience on the part of the translators. Integrated with Trados, optimize both manual and automated localization workflows. InterSol uses software localization tools to handle a large number of software-specific file formats, including executable programs, resource files and XML based files. Text strings can be translated into numerous languages, including Asian languages (Unicode) and right-to-left scripts like Hebrew and Arabic. www.intersolinc.eu
Quality Assurance Tools InterSol uses a number of QA tools to assist with the verification of documents written in markup languages, such as HTML (HyperText Markup Language) and XML (extensible Markup Language). XML validation, for example, consists of checking a XML document to confirm that it is both well-formed and valid, ie., it follows a defined structure. A well-formed document follows the basic syntactic rules of XML, which are the same for all XML documents. A valid XML document also respects the rules dictated by a particular DTD or XML schema, such as a DITA map (Darwin Information Typing Architecture), according to the application-specific choices for those particular documents. www.intersolinc.eu
