7 Our Tools and Technology CAT Tools: SDL technology supports the TMX (Translation Memory exchange) standard. This is the vendor-neutral standard for the exchange of TM data created by Computer-Aided Translation (CAT) and localization tools. The TMX format facilitates the exchange of translation memory data between tools and/or translation vendors.
