SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Cliff Lee, CHARLOTTE Charles Savoie Ripon, WI
Charlotte Contemporary is an exciting new addition to the vibrant Charlotte arts scene, and from October 16 through 18 we will transform the Park Expo Center into a decorator s dream, a collector's paradise, and a sea of beauty. The show will introduce Charlotte to more than one-hundred of the nation's top contemporary artists; offering their latest work in ceramics, glass, wood, metal, mixed-media and more. Our guests will also find wearable art, jewelry and fashion accessories. Everything is one-of-a-kind or limited edition, and it's all hand-crafted right here in the USA. Many of the artists have work in major museum collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Smithsonian American Art Museum s Renwick Gallery, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Mint Museum and numerous others. Mariko Swisher Lancaster, PA Primary Audience: Adults 60+, household income $150K+ Secondary Audience: Adults 35-54, household income $75K+ Based on a decade of experience with shows of comparable quality and in similarly-sized geographic locations, the show organizer expects Charlotte Contemporary to attract a large audience of affluent individuals with high levels of disposable income. Among them will be museum curators, art collectors, gallery owners and individuals who simply appreciate quality and beauty. Teresa Widuch Chicago,IL Not only are the show organizers bringing a world-class art fair to Charlotte; through a partnership with the non-profit organization ArtStart, a portion of each ticket sale will be set aside for worthwihle local charities, and 100% of the proceeds from our wine bar will be used to establish a scholarship fund for aspiring artists who have been accepted into a major art program (e.g. Rhode Island School of Design, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Parsons).
