3 WHAT IS IS AMARR CO-OP? CO-OP? The Amarr Co-Op Advertising Program is designed to assist Amarr dealers with the cost of local advertising efforts to promote their business and Amarr garage doors. The Amarr co-op advertising program is effective for advertising from January 1 through December 31 of the current co-op program year. The advertising for which you seek credit reimbursement must fully comply with Amarr s Co-operative Advertising Program policies. Amarr co-op claim requests for credit reimbursement must be submitted to Entrematic within 60 calendar days of the ad run date. Claims submitted after the 60-day period are not eligible for credit. Entrematic reserves the right to modify or terminate this co-operative advertising program at any time. Should this program be altered or discontinued, dealers will have 60 days from announcement to submit claims for credit. Entrematic reserves the right to audit Amarr co-op claims and reimbursements at any time. HOW DO I I BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR THE AMARR CO-OP PROGRAM? All Amarr dealers with previous calendar year purchases equal to or greater than $25,000 are eligible for the Amarr Co-operative Advertising Program. HOW DO DO I EARN I EARN AMARR AMARR CO-OP CO-OP DOLLARS? DOLLARS? Amarr co-op dollars are accrued at 1/2 % of a dealer s previous calendar year purchases excluding sales tax, freight, and discounts. Accured co-op dollars are granted as a one-time amount that does not increase during the year. All Amarr garage door purchases, including but not limited to doors, hardware, openers, and accessories, contribute to a dealer s co-op fund. Funds of the current Amarr co-op program year that are not used 60 days after the current program year ends are forfeited and do not carry over into the next co-op program year. WHERE CAN I I VIEW MY AVAILABLE AMARR CO-OP FUNDS? To view your available Amarr co-op funds, go online 24/7 to amarrdealer.com. Log in to amarrdealer.com and under My Account, click Co-Op, then Amarr Co-Op and you will be connected to your Amarr co-op account. 3

4 HOW HOW DO DO I I CALCULATE AMARR AMARR CO-OP CO-OP REIMBURSEMENT? REIMBURSEMENT? The Amarr co-op advertising program is a 50/50 cooperative program. Entrematic will reimburse you of the cost of all approved Amarr advertising on a pro rata share of ad space/time devoted to Amarr. The only exception is Yellow Page reimbursement, which is limited to 25% of the dealer s annual co-op fund. Reimbursement will be based upon the actual net post-negotiated space/time advertising costs using local rates and considering any discounts and anticipated rebates that dealer will receive. Entrematic reserves the right to limit the amount(s) that will be paid to any dealer under the terms of this program if, in our judgment, the claim(s) exceed reasonable amounts based upon the quantity of Amarr products purchased. 5 WHAT ARE THE AMARR CO-OP ADVERTISING LOGO POLICIES? Amarr Logo Usage Prominent presentation of a current, unaltered Amarr logo is required in all advertising to qualify for co-op reimbursement. Advertiser must comply with the Amarr Logo Usage and Sizing Guidelines for acceptable logo use. 2-Color Applications: Amarr Green, PMS /C Process: 92C, 34M, 51Y, 10K Internet RGB: 0R, 121G, 123B Rule & Entrematic: Black 1-Color Applications: All Black Spot Color: All Black 4/C Process: 0C, 0M, 0Y, 100K Internet RGB: 35R, 31G, 32B Clear : The minimum free space around the logo should always be equivalent to the X-Height of the Entrematic logotype. Size Guidelines: Please use the size guidelines when using the Amarr logos in your ads or other print materials. Use no smaller than 1 wide If your ad or print material size is: Less than 4 x 4 From 4 x 4 to 6 x 6 From 6 x 6 to 8 x 8 From 8 x 8 to 11 x 11 The Amarr logo size should be at least 1 side to side (minimum size restriction) 1-1/4 side to side 1-1/2 side to side 2 side to side Competitive Logos and Products Advertisements containing competitive logos and/or products are NOT eligible for Amarr co-op credit reimbursement. Competitive logos or products are not allowed in any advertising submitted for Amarr reimbursement. Competitive products are products that compete directly with any Amarr branded products. Advertising with non-competitive products (products that do not compete directly with any Amarr branded products) ARE ELIGIBLE for co-op credit based on a pro rata share of space/ time devoted to Amarr. Opener Manufacturer Logos Logos for opener manufacturers are allowed, but credit will be earned on a pro rata share of space/time devoted to Amarr. For example, if Amarr and an opener logo appear in the ad, Amarr credit will be issued only for the portion of ad space devoted to Amarr. An ad may be submitted to opener manufacturer separately for opener credit. 5

6 WHAT TYPES OF ADVERTISING ARE ELIGIBLE FOR AMARR CO-OP? The chart below gives an overview of eligible advertising. Read the following pages for an in-depth explanation of advertising types and required documentation for claims. Reimbursement rates are subject to change. For reimbursement, logo and advertising guidelines must be followed. 7 WHAT TYPES OF ADVERTISING ARE ELIGIBLE FOR AMARR CO-OP? The following specifies the eligibility, qualification, restrictions, and required documentation for the types of advertising available under Amarr s co-op program. Reviewing these requirements will help ensure that your advertising qualifies for reimbursement. DIGITAL/ONLINE MEDIA INTERNET/WEBSITE Amarr logo and product images must appear on Internet page(s). Entrematic will reimburse of website development cost on a pro rata share of pages devoted to Amarr, not exceeding $500 total. Full-page printout of Internet page(s). Original net invoice for development of your internet site. URL active dates for Web site are required. PAY-PER-CLICK ADVERTISING Keyword-specific searches to the Amarr brand and/or products are eligible for reimbursement for total keyword purchases through a search engine provider like Google, Yahoo, etc. Amarr brand name, Amarr logo, and/or Amarr product names must be featured in the keyword or the ad copy accompanying the keyword. Examples: Amarr, Amarr Garage Doors, Amarr Classica, Amarr Oak Summit, Amarr Carriage Court, etc. This does not cover or include Search Engine Optimization. A paid net invoice from a search engine provider, like Google, Yahoo, etc that shows all keywords claimed and total cost of keywords claimed. The invoice must contain logo art and identification that invoice is an authentic invoice from a search engine provider. Copy of campaign summary page from search provider. ONLINE BANNER/DISPLAY ADS Amarr online banner/display ads are eligible for reimbursement of media space total cost on a pro rata share of ad space devoted to Amarr. The Amarr logo must be prominently displayed according to Amarr Brand Guidelines. Copy of net invoice from service provider. Image or Flash file of ad and image file of ad landing page. ONLINE DIRECTORY DISPLAY ADVERTISING Amarr ads on Internet Yellow Pages or search directories (e.g. SuperPages.com or Yellowpages.com, AngiesList.com, Yelp.com, etc.) are eligible for reimbursement of total cost on a pro rata share of ad space devoted to Amarr. This includes page sponsorships as well as display ads. This does not include listings. The Amarr logo is required. Copy of directory host net invoice. Color copy of Internet page advertisement showing URL address. 7

8 DIGITAL/ONLINE MEDIA (continued) AMARR DEALER REVIEWS PROGRAM Dealers who are signed up for the Amarr Dealer Reviews Program are eligible for reimbursement on their annual fee. Only dealers who have opted in and have been billed for the program are able to submit a claim for reimbursement. A new claim must be filed each year for each annual fee. Copy of invoice for the Amarr Dealer Reviews Program from Amarr. TABLETS FOR ONSITE (prior approval required) Dealers who are signed up for OnSite training or have been trained are eligible for reimbursement on tablet purchases. Quantity of tablets is subject to approval based on Amarr dealer levels. Original invoice for tablet purchase. Proof of OnSite training. BROADCAST & PRINT MEDIA RADIO & TELEVISION (prior approval required) All qualified advertising on FCC-licensed stations is eligible for reimbursement on a pro rata share of ad space devoted to Amarr. A minimum of two mentions of Amarr brand name and product description (e.g. photo and logo for TV) is required. For a 60 second ad, a minimum of 25 seconds must be dedicated to Amarr. An original station net invoice identifying the commercial(s) spot length, unit rate, and total cost. A copy of each script. Prior Approval Form showing Amarr approval. NEWSPAPER All verifiable display and classified display advertisements within general interest daily, Sunday, and weekly newspapers are eligible for reimbursement on a pro rata share of ad space devoted to Amarr. Amarr logo, product name, product illustration, and product description are required. An original full-page newspaper sheet showing the ad for each day. Original newspaper net invoice, including any discounts. 8

9 BROADCAST & PRINT MEDIA (continued) MAGAZINE ADS All verifiable general interest and trade magazines are eligible for reimbursement on a pro rata share of ad space devoted to Amarr. Amarr logo, product name, product illustration, and product description are required. An original full-page magazine sheet. Original publisher s net invoice, including any discounts. DIRECT MAIL, HANDBILLS AND CIRCULAR FLYERS (prior approval required) Printing, postage, list charges, envelopes, and labeling costs are eligible for reimbursement on a pro rata share of ad space devoted to Amarr. The Amarr logo, product name, product illustration, and product description are required. Complete copy of original printed piece including envelope and other pieces. Net invoice showing proof of distribution, and/or proof of newspaper insertion, and/or delivery service certification. Original net invoice for material, production, printing, and list costs. Prior Approval Form showing Amarr approval. YELLOW PAGES Multiple product ads are eligible for reimbursement on a pro rata share of ad space devoted to Amarr. Yellow Pages reimbursement is limited to 25% of dealer s annual co-op fund. Note: Your ad must include the current Amarr logo. An original full-page Yellow Pages sheet from the directory showing ad. Original publisher s net co-op billing statement or contract showing publication date, directory name, headings, monthly and yearly charges (monthly phone bills are not accepted). 9

10 EVENTS TRADE SHOWS/MALL & HOME SHOWS Only rental space and rentals (e.g. floor space, electrical, furniture, etc.) are eligible for reimbursement on a pro rata share devoted to Amarr. No reimbursement for food, beverage, or entertainment is allowed. Original (or notarized) copy of net invoices for space and rentals. Color photograph of entire exhibit that shows and identifies Amarr doors on display. PARADE OF HOMES Amarr Classica, Amarr Oak Summit, Amarr Heritage, and Amarr Stratford residential doors are eligible for reimbursement when doors are installed for a Parade of Homes event. Reimbursement cannot exceed 4 doors per year per dealer. Amarr invoice showing cost to purchase doors. Company net invoice showing proof of participation. Complete, original Parade of Homes book, flyer, brochure, etc. MERCHANDISING & BRANDING AMARR P.O.P. DISPLAY Amarr P.O.P Displays are eligible for reimbursement. Co-op claim submission is required. Copy of Amarr invoice. OUTDOOR ADS (prior approval required) Only designs preapproved by Entrematic are eligible for reimbursement on a pro rata share of ad space devoted to Amarr. Original posting company net invoice. Color photograph of each location and list of locations. Prior Approval Form showing Amarr approval. 10

11 MERCHANDISING & BRANDING (continued) PROFESSIONAL SIGNAGE (prior approval required) Only signs for buildings or trucks that are preapproved by Entrematic are eligible for reimbursement on a pro rata share of ad space devoted to Amarr. Original net invoice(s) for signage. Color photograph of each location, list of locations, or truck. Prior Approval Form showing Amarr approval. APPAREL Apparel showing the Amarr logo is eligible for up to reimbursement on a pro rata share of apparel advertising space devoted to Amarr. Original net invoice. If apparel is not purchased from Amarr s company store, color photo of apparel showing all sides of items and Amarr logo is required. RACE CAR SPONSORSHIP (prior approval required) All preapproved race car sponsorships are eligible for reimbursement on a pro rata share of ad space devoted to Amarr. Amarr logo must be unaltered and at least 18" long by 7" tall and prominently displayed on the car. Original net invoice. Written documentation showing the estimated number of race attendees and a list of the scheduled races for the season. Color photograph of the race car showing Amarr logo. Prior Approval Form showing Amarr approval. 11

12 WHAT ARE ARE THE THE AMARR AMARR ADVERTISING CO-OP ADVERTISING GUIDELINES? GUIDELINES? Some media activities require prior approval. Prior approval is required for any advertising or media type not mentioned previously in this document. Prior approval submissions require completed Amarr prior approval form and sample ad copy and artwork. When ad is placed in more than one media, you will need to provide required documentation for each media and for each advertisement. When using photos of Amarr garage doors, a current and unaltered Amarr logo must also be shown according to these policies. No reimbursement will be made for the following: Production/Creative charges, Art or Color charges, Special Position charges, Talent charges, Agency Commission, and Tax. NOTE: A request for Prior Approval review for any proposed advertising can be submitted with an Amarr Prior Approval form to gain assurance of ad eligibility. WHAT ARE ARE THE THE AMARR AMARR CO-OP REIMBURSEMENT GUIDELINES? Co-op claim requests for credit reimbursement must be submitted to Entrematic within 60 calendar days of the ad run date. All final Amarr co-op claims for current program year must be submitted to Entrematic by February 28, following the current co-op program year. Claims submitted after the 60-day period are not eligible for credit. Reimbursement will not exceed your available co-op dollars for the year. Individual claims under $50.00 will not be accepted for co-op advertising. Co-op credit will be denied if not in full compliance. Co-op funds must be available at the time of claim submission. As an advertiser, you are responsible for paying the media for the entire cost of your advertising. Once your claim is submitted and approved, reimbursement will be made in the form of a credit memorandum to your Amarr account. There are no cash reimbursements. You may not make deductions from your payment to Entrematic before co-op credits have been approved and applied to your Amarr account. Co-op credits can be applied against current or future invoice balances or purchases. Your account must be current (no past dues) to receive credit. 12

13 WHERE DO DO I I SUBMIT AMARR CLAIM OR PRIOR APPROVAL FORMS? Prior approval and claim forms can be found online at under the Marketing tab and click on Co-Op Program. There are three ways to submit a prior approval or claim form; online, direct mail or fax. Online is the fastest, easiest, and most preferable way to submit claims. ONLINE Go to: Click on My Account tab and then Amarr Co-Op DIRECT MAIL Amarr Co-operative Advertising Program c/o The Advertising Checking Bureau P.O. Box 1919 Memphis, TN FAX NOTE: All Co-op Claims submitted require the submission of verifiable, unaltered proof of performance in compliance with the terms of the Amarr Co-op Advertising Program Policy.
