The Women in Business Conference is a one-day conference, where prominent businesswomen serve as speakers and panelists. The personal interaction in these seminars provides an outstanding opportunity for graduate business students and professionals to learn from successful women business leaders and entrepreneurs. While this is a woman-focused event, conference planning and participation are not limited to women, since many issues will be relevant to all business people. The focus of the conference is to enhance and encourage career development and networking among students and working professionals, while developing an appreciation for the role of women in business. The conference includes a keynote speaker, individual speaker sessions, panels, and workshops. Topics are varied and include entrepreneurship, finance, career transitions, international business, social media marketing, and more.

Started in February 2001, the Women in Business (WIB) Network is an association of women and men interested in meeting and networking with other students and alumni in Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business MBA Programs. Since its inception, the network has grown to over 200 members including current students and alumni. Women in Business Mission Statement The Women In Business Mission is to organize professional, social and volunteer events designed to enhance and encourage the networking of MBA's while developing an appreciation for the role of women in business. About Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University The Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University began in 1926, and was one of the first business schools in the country to receive national accreditation. Its undergraduate business program is among the top 35 in the nation (and among top three in California), its MBA program has ranked in the top 15 for the last decade, and its Executive MBA is ranked 19th in the U.S. The School opened its new $49 million building for undergraduate, graduate, and professional business education in Fall 2008.
