Every year, DrupalSouth (previously known as Drupal Downunder when held in Australia) brings together people who use, develop, design and support Drupal in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. Participants leave inspired and energised by new ideas, connections and relationships, whatever their previous experience with Drupal. DrupalSouth Melbourne 2015 will feature sessions and panels from the brightest minds in the regional Drupal community, as well as important voices from the wider digital world. 5 Our Venue Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Our venue was awarded a 6-Star environment rating by the Green Building Council of Australia. The main auditorium seats 450, with four smaller session spaces giving us the flexibility to plan a diverse program with something for everyone. A first class conference centre means we get first class AV support and quality catering. Rather than quarantining sponsors in a dedicated area, we encourage you to participate fully and directly in the event. We find the quality of networking improves vastly when participants can interact with sponsors naturally, rather than having to visit them at an assigned table. Code Sprints Code sprints are a unique feature of an open source community event like DrupalSouth. They re an opportunity for anyone to pitch in and help make Drupal better, by writing code, reviewing patches, developing new modules and themes, or improving content and documentation on Drupal.org. Birds of a Feather Some of the liveliest and most productive discussions at Drupal events happen in Birds of a Feather sessions (BoFs): informal gatherings around topics of shared interest, without a planned agenda, guided by a facilitator or discussion leader. Sessions DrupalSouth Melbourne will feature three tracks of curated sessions and panels. Topics will include design and user experience, coding and development, and business and strategy. We have three key themes, Drupal Futures, Building with Drupal, and Planning for Drupal. Sessions will be targeted at users of all levels, from those new to Drupal to seasoned veterans.

We d really love to upgrade our lunch package to give attendees a better experience.
