PARTNER SERVICES 13 CSI www.businesscsi.co.uk is a web portal that has been developed by our team to help you to survey your customers. It will help you to not only make sure that you have happy, loyal customers, but to immediately deal with any problems that may arise. WHY IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION INDEXING (CSI) SO IMPORTANT? The importance of talking regularly to all your customers about CSI has to be a focus within your business. It has been proven that happy customers are more likely to stay with O2 and recommend the service to others in turn creating more O2 fans. A BIT MORE ABOUT CSI Where appropriate, the survey questions refer to Partners of O2 to make it clear to your customer that they are talking about you. The better you manage your customers, the happier they will feel and the higher your score will be The survey asks your customers about their whole experience. HOW IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION MEASURED? The CSI score is measured on a scale of 1 10 across all questions asked, where 1 is extremely poor and 10 is excellent The survey asks a number of questions, including: In general how satisfied are you? How well does O2 compare to your expectations? How close or far from being the ideal operator is O2? WHAT INFORMATION WILL WE SHARE WITH YOU? Your individual customer scores and an overall CSI score Your customer names and comments unless they have asked to remain anonymous Red flags - where the customer has scored less than 6. We need you to contact these customers to discuss their issues HOW CAN I BE SURE WHICH CUSTOMERS WILL BE SURVEYED BY O2? The O2 survey can happen at any time to any of your customers therefore it is imperative that you inform your customer that they could be surveyed at any time. HOW CAN I BE SURE WHICH CUSTOMERS WILL BE SURVEYED BY BUSINESSCSI.CO.UK? The businesscsi.co.uk survey will typically take place after 3 working days of any re-sign, port or new connection going live. However, as with the O2 survey, it is possible that any of your customers could be surveyed at any time. HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY CUSTOMER HAS BEEN SURVEYED? As soon as a businesscsi.co.uk or an O2 survey has taken place, the results will be uploaded onto the businesscsi.co.uk portal for you to review. It is with this in mind that we would suggest you log on to the portal every day. WHO CAN I SPEAK TO IF I HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS ABOUT CSI OR THE BONUS CALCULATION? You can call Adi Watt on 020 8731 4409 or email adriennewatt@chesstelecom. com for any questions about the CSI programme, rules and bonus calculations. IMPORTANT NOTE TO REMEMBER The monthly score for payment of the CSI bonus will need to be a minimum average of 80%. This result is irrespective of whether the result has come from an O2 or businesscsi.co.uk survey. Happy customers are less likely to leave Happy customers are more likely to buy multiple services Happy customers are more likely to recommend you Delivering a great customer experience is a key partner programme metric Talking Shop Chess Partner Services, August 2014 Prices and information are subject to change at any time

This is the normal way a broadband connection would work and is included in the monthly rental. Single static IP address gives the router a fixed IP address and is included in the customer s monthly rental but must be requested. A block of 8 static IP addresses has 2 reserved addresses and one for the router giving an additional 5 IP addresses for other IT systems. A block of 16 static IP addresses has 2 reserved addresses and one for the router giving an additional 13 IP addresses for other IT systems. Ordering Normally the IP addresses would be ordered at the same time as the broadband connection. But customers can order in life or change their order in life, but the customer must pay the correct monthly rental. Multiple static IP addresses are available on all our broadband products including fibre. What is a Multi Static IP address? It s a block of IP addresses, rather than the normal single one that is supplied in tariff. A single or multi static IP address must be requested by the customer because the default is a dynamic IP address (one that changes from time to time from a ONGOING PROMOTIONS pool of available addresses). 15 Why Multi and Static IP addresses? A static (or fixed) IP address remains the same, unlike a dynamic IP address. This would be used when there is a web server on the customer s broadband connection. They would need the IP address to stay the same so that their webpage can be found easily. Multiple static IP addresses would be used on rare occasions where more than one system needed their own static IP addresses e.g. a set of separate web servers. How many IP addresses are used by the customer? Not all of the addresses in a block are used by the customer. One is required for the router itself and two are reserved - one for broadcast and one for subnet addressing. So for example a block of eight static IP addresses will have six free where one is for the customer router leaving a further five free for other things. Likewise a block of 16 will have 13 free for other things. The standard set up is to have the first address as the subnet, the last address as the broadcast and the second address for the router (the first host address). 3G SIMS NOW COMPATIBLE WITH THE 4G NETWORK Customers with a 3G SIM will no longer have to complete a SIM swap to access O2 s 4G network. PARTNER SERVICES 17 MIGRATION In May O2 enabled 57.1k customers on 4G. By doing this they had more than doubled their 4G connections in 2 months - fantastic news! In July they are continuing with their migrations. What is it? They are enabling RRP Singleton customers with a 4G device and a 3G tariff on 4G by adding a FOC 4G bolt on. This means these customers will be able to use 4G when in a 4G area at no extra cost to them. Why are they doing this? O2 want as many of their customers to experience 4G as possible. Since they changed their RRP singleton portfolio to have 4G access included in all tariffs, it makes sense to enable customers with a 4G device and 3G tariff on 4G at no extra cost to them. They shouldn t have to wait until their contract is up. O2 want to surprise and delight them. Pricing effective 1 July 2014: Ireland Bolt On allows all calls made within the Republic of Ireland and back to the UK to be made at a discounted rate. Pricing effective 1 July 2014: Available for all business customers who regularly visit the Republic of Ireland. Free for all customers. For further information or queries please contact Client Services. Why didn t O2 migrate these customers in May? 3G sims when enabled can now work on the 4G network (previously a customer had to have a 4G sim). This means that o2 can migrate these customers so that they can benefit from Glorious 4G. Please note that although O2 are enabling 3G sims on the 4G network in the migrations, 4G sims must still be issued to customers when they resign or are a new 4G customer of O2. What about bespoke customers with a 4G device? This migration is part of a larger 4G Migrate and Monetise programme. This is the first group for O2 to enable. We have several other groups that we will migrate throughout the year. O2 will let you know when that s happening. This is a good news message to O2 customers. Let s hope that they re surprised. 4G - Be more on the move. This summer EU legislation will bring further reductions to wholesale and retail roaming price caps for EU roaming. This is good news for O2 customers as they will pay less for calls, texts and data when in Europe. O2 have also reduced the price of the following two bolt-ons: 1. My Europe Extra 2. Ireland Bolt On My Europe Extra is a bolt on which offers customers a discounted rate for calls. There are no charges to receive calls anywhere in Western Europe. 4.25 per person per month, subject to a minimum 12 month contract.
