We believe the more we know...the farther we go. What is FME? FME is a unique industry experience produced by Waste Events, LLC, that provides waste and recycling fleet owners, managers and other professionals, in both the public and private sectors, hands-on information about improving their operations, a chance to network with vendors who specialize in fleet products and services, and the opportunity to test the newest innovations in refuse trucks and equipment. Through a combination of educational seminars, practical demonstrations and networking events, attendees and vendors have the opportunity to connect and learn. Who are Waste Events LLC? Waste Events, LLC, produces high quality interactive events and educational sessions to help fleet managers maximise fleet efficiency, profitability and sustainability. The company was founded in 2013 by Sarah Winner and Gary Orfe, and is headquartered in Detroit. 2

3 Who do we reach? The FME community consists of organizations involved in all areas of waste fleet management, as well as recycling, across North America. Private and municipal haulers, manufacturers, software & hardware developers, industry associations & press, municipalities and non-profits. The FME brand is all about starting conversations about industry excellence. Its credibility derives from the participation and support of leaders in the waste and recycling industries. 4 What do we talk about? The topic areas for our information sessions and keynotes are decided by the FME Committee. The Committee is made up of industry experts and professionals who use their knowledge and expertise to design a program that addresses a broad range of issues, is relevant and on-trend. Prospective speakers are also invited to submit ideas for sessions and apply to be a speaker through our website.
