1 La Plaza s FIESTA Indianapolis, the premier Latino cultural celebration in Indiana since 1980, is held every third Saturday of September at the American Legion Mall in downtown Indianapolis. Attended by approximately 20,000 people, this family event takes place from noon until 10:00 p.m. and is free to the public. The main objectives of La Plaza s FIESTA Indianapolis are: To celebrate and share the Hispanic Culture with the entire community Enhance the cultural fabric of the city Expand Cultural Tourism in Indianapolis Disseminate information to the Hispanic Community 2015 Festival La Plaza s 35 th FIESTA Indianapolis will take place on September 19, 2015 and will involve the following: Entertainment/Recognition Dancing, Music and Fun! The Main Stage will host a mixture of traditional and current sounds of mariachi, flamenco, tango, salsa, and merengue, along with a variety of bands and other performers will fill the Main Stage. A Master of Ceremonies will recognize sponsors between each act. Food Plaza The dining opportunities include foods from many Latin American countries and Tex-Mex.

2 Information Booths Along the sides of the American Legion Mall, there are a variety of vendors, corporate information and community service booths. Cultural organizations are encouraged to bring display items to enlighten the public about Hispanic cultures and services they offer. Health and Wellness Fair The fair offers a venue to provide Hispanics and the community at large culturally relevant health information on major illnesses disproportionately impacting Hispanics and an opportunity to provide free medical screenings. Information will focus on health promotion, illness prevention and connections to local and national resources available to assist Hispanics in getting proper healthcare. Family and Children s Activities Children will enjoy interactive activities designed with families in mind. Activities include: Radio Disney, Colts Play 60, and Indy Eleven Soccer, and arts and crafts. Cultural booths offer information and activities about Latin American and Iberian culture. Media and Public Relations Plan Television, radio and newspaper partnerships will expand in 2015 both with English and Spanish language media outlets. In 2015 La Plaza s FIESTA Indianapolis will use television coverage as the foundation of its promotional efforts. Radio coverage will be provided by a partnership with Spanish and English language radio stations. Total estimated value received by La Plaza s FIESTA Sponsors from this promotional effort is $20,000
