2 Invitation to participate as a sponsor and /or exhibitor: Australian Childcare Alliance Western Australia (ACA WA) invites you to participate in our 2016 Early Childhood Education & Care conference Facing the Future Together. The conference is to be held at the Esplanade Fremantle from the 19 th 21 st August Sponsorship allows you to promote your services and products to the early education and care sector, which will include approved providers, nominated supervisors, early childhood educators and other key industry stakeholders, this will demonstrate your commitment and support to this very valued sector. Who we are: ACA WA is a members advocate association; ACA WA believes in quality education and care for all children in WA. Our role: ACA WA is the only peak private long day child care centre association in W.A. The Association and its members are committed to bringing together (at state and federal level) industry, government and community to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families. Members are represented by a diverse Committee from LDC, OSHC, Private, Community and Rural and Remote child care services. The Committee has federal and state representation which ensures that the voice of the WA sector is heard, and over the years has been successful in opposing and enacting many changes to the regulations in which we operate. ACA WA is also represented on a wide range of Committees and Task Forces that are focused on many aspects of the early education and care of children. ACA WA in conjunction with our Federal Body, Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA), also makes regular submissions to Government (both State and Federal) on Training, Industrial Relations, Government Reviews, Policy and Regulations. ACA WA also supports Members with inquiries on issues such as Training, Industrial Relations and Regulations, and responds to inquiries and concerns from non-members and the public on subjects relating to the care of children. ACA WA is committed to keeping members informed with current issues, supporting members with concerns and sourcing material that would benefit the successful running of a child care service. We believe that the Association should maintain a positive working relationship with all members, and work towards achievable goals. Our history: Australian Childcare Alliance Western Australia (ACA WA), formally The Child Care Association of WA (CAWA), was formed in 1972 and was responsible for lobbying the Federal Government to provide funds training for Child Care workers. The first training that was initiated was the Child Care Certificate (CCC) which was followed by the entry level training the Introduction to Child Care. The Association has subsequently been involved in quality issues, training, the development of programmes, updating regulations and Industrial Relations. Western Australia was the first state to have legislated Child Care Regulations and an Industrial Award for child care workers developed by the private child care industry. The emphasis has always been on developing quality services and keeping members up to date with Industry knowledge and assistance. In 2014 Childcare Association of WA Inc changed their name with the other State Associations to come under our National Body the Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA). We are very proud to now be known as Australian Childcare Alliance Western Australia (ACA WA). Our philosophy: Members of the Association believe: All children deserve a safe and secure environment that challenges and stimulates and offers time for discovery, reflection and collaboration. Parents have the right to feel confident that their children are being cared for in a safe and proactive environment that caters for individuality and different cultural backgrounds. Staff have the right to work in a centre of excellence which is committed to improving the conditions and public perception of early childhood educators and the industry. The community has the right to information and education about the benefits of quality early childhood care and education for WA children. It is our right to have a voice in the future direction of our industry.

Our conference will offer consecutive hands on workshops for educators and also run sessions and workshops for approved providers, along with Keynote presentations by inspiring Australians; Play is the engine of real learning. 9 Sponsorship and Exhibitor terms and conditions: Financial 1. Exhibition/sponsorship packages are available for purchase through ACA WA, please or call All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST. 3. Full payment or a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. 4. If you pay by Credit Card a 1.5% charge will be incurred 5. Full payment must be received by COB 31 st May If the balance of the payment is not received by the due date, the allocated sponsorship or exhibition booth may be cancelled. 7. You will not receive any sponsorship or exhibition entitlements (including booth allocation) until all monies have been paid. 8. You must notify the conference organisers in writing if you intend to cancel sponsorship or an exhibition booth. 9. No sponsor shall assign, sublet or apportion the whole or any part of their exhibition and/or sponsorship package except upon prior written consent of ACA WA. 10. Cancellations made before 28 th April 2016 will be refunded less 50 per cent of the total purchase price. Cancellations made after this date will not be refunded. 11. Cancellations will not be considered if ACA WA deems that sponsorship entitlements have already been provided prior to the submission of cancellation. On-site 1. All exhibition staff present at the conference must register for the conference. 2. During the bump-in and bump-out times, all people present in the Exhibition Hall must wear protective clothing including enclosed shoes and high visibility vests, which are to be purchased or supplied by the exhibitor. Exhibitors 1. We reserve the right to ask you to remove any display items we deem as unacceptable. 2. Advertising material (e.g. banners) is not allowed outside the designated booth area. Obstruction of the aisles or walkways, in any form, is not allowed. 3. You will be responsible for any reasonable costs of repairing the booth or premises if you paint, mark or damage any fixtures or fabric. 4. You are solely responsible for any physical loss or damage to your own property. 5. No exhibitor shall assign, sublet or apportion the whole or any part of their booked space except upon prior written consent of the Conference Organiser The Conference Managers reserve the right to rearrange the floor plan and/or relocate any exhibit without notice. 7. ECA will not discount or refund for any facilities not used or required. 8. No exhibitor will be allowed to begin move-in operations or be listed as an exhibitor in the on-site publications until full payment has been received by the Conference Organiser.
