2 Concept Kenya has over 22,000 registered BOSA SACCOs, and 300,000 registered chamas. By the end of 2014, SACCOs had mobilised Kshs 460 Billion in member deposits, projected to grow to Kshs 800 billion by Many of these SACCOs and chamas are successful at accumulating savings in a bank account, but fail to agree upon an investment strategy amongst the members.
