OTHER POST POST 25/83 : DEPUTY DIRECTOR: SUPPLIER MANGEMENT Directorate: Provincial Supply Chain Management SALARY : R per annum (all-inclusive package) CENTRE : Johannesburg REQUIREMENTS : Three year tertiary qualification or equivalent qualification, Must hold a Recognised SAQA accredited and aligned tertiary qualification in Quality Management / Science. Recommended completion of some business courses and essential Procurement courses. 3-4 years Quality Assurance and 3 years Management experience in a similar environment. 3-4 years technical and / or administrative experience in Supplier Management, preferably supplier registration and pre-qualification, understanding of current best practice and other developments in this field, such as ISO, and its application as well as QA, TQM, GMP, GLP, six sigma would be advantageous. Understanding of the South African Marketplace and BBBEE and SMME in particular: and broad knowledge of procurement and public sector work experience. DUTIES : To ensure that quality requirements have been properly defined and to appropriate quality planning and ensure that these requirements are met.
