Over the last five years we have helped some of Ireland s best and most dynamic nonprofits to recruit tens of thousands of new supporters and raise millions of euro. Among our current clients are The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Barretstown, CBM Ireland, Cork Simon Community, The Irish Hospice Foundation, The Irish Heart Foundation, Oxfam Ireland, World Vision Ireland and Women s Aid. Due to the continued expansion of our work programme, we are now seeking to recruit a number of brilliant account handling staff. The roles we are currently looking to fill are: Account Director (Minimum 5 years fundraising experience and proven expertise in direct marketing. Experience in an agency/consultancy environment highly desirable) Account Manager (Minimum 3 years fundraising, marketing or communications experience, with a clear understanding of direct marketing. Charity/fundraising experience a distinct advantage) Account/Production Executive (Minimum 1 years experience in a production, client-facing or agency role with a clear understanding of direct marketing)

2 Key Duties and Responsibilities Account Director The Account Director is responsible and accountable for the overall planning, leadership and direction of client accounts. S/he also has responsibility for the growth and profitability of client accounts, and delivering additional value - in the form of strategic thinking, learning and new ideas - to the relationship with clients. The Account Director will: Manage workflow across his/her account team to ensure the delivery of projects on schedule. Ensure the delivery of projects on budget and in line with profit expectations. Develop detailed annual work programmes and fundraising plans; cost estimates and budgets for specific projects; campaign proposals and creative briefs. Analyse campaign and other fundraising results and data in order to provide insight for both Ask Direct and our clients. Secure new business for Ask Direct. Deliver key presentations within Ask Direct, to clients, and at conferences and other fora where appropriate. Contribute in a significant way to the strategic and creative thinking of Ask Direct. Support the work of the Managing Director where appropriate. Account Manager The Account Manager will manage the day-to-day relationship with clients, and contribute to the successful development of fundraising strategies and campaigns. S/he will: Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and act as the main day-to-day point of contact for clients. Develop and manage campaign schedules and project plans. Contribute to the development of campaign and creative briefs and supply briefs to writers, designers and other members of the project team. Manage the creative production of client campaigns.

3 Develop production and data briefs for projects and manage and monitor the production and data elements of projects (in conjunction with the account/production executive). Write project reports and keep accurate records of projects. Maintain accurate and up to date client files. Support the work of the Account Director in planning and managing key client relationships; analysing campaign results and providing insight for Ask Direct and their clients. Contribute to new business development efforts. Account/Production Executive The Account/Production Executive will co-ordinate the print and production of client projects and support the work of the Account Managers. S/he will: Source quotes from suppliers. Ensure third party suppliers deliver work on schedule. Provide quality control for print and production work. Check and approve artwork, print proofs and data proofs. Provide administrative support where required. Provide additional support to the client management team where required. Person Specifications We re only interested in hiring people who want to be the best. You should have a respect for other people and a commitment to help create a stimulating and harmonious workplace. You must be fluent in English for all of these roles. Ask Direct is a small, dynamic company. The good news is that this means there ll be plenty of opportunities to learn and develop new skills. On the other hand, you ll need to be flexible and you ll be expected to get stuck in and do whatever tasks are required to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest levels of quality. No matter what your role is within the organisation you ll need to answer phones, deal with mundane office tasks and, crucially, wash the dishes. Account Director You are a strategic thinker with at least five years fundraising experience. You have a proven expertise in direct marketing, and a strong understanding of data. You re computer literate, highly numerate and have excellent writing and presentation skills. Experience in an agency or consultancy role would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of legacy fundraising and digital marketing. Account Manager You have at least three years experience in a fundraising, marketing or communications environment. You re computer-literate with excellent writing and presentation skills. You have experience, and a sound understanding, of direct marketing. While not essential, experience in an agency or client-facing role, such as client management or customer service would be a distinct advantage. Experience in a fundraising role is desirable, but not essential.

5 Account/Production Executive You have at least one year s experience in a production, fundraising or marketing role. You have excellent attention to detail and you re computerliterate with excellent writing skills. You have a clear understanding of direct marketing. Conditions of Employment An attractive salary commensurate with experience will be offered to the successful candidate for each of the positions. Ask Direct operates a performance-related bonus scheme. If you contribute to our success as a company you ll share in the rewards. Contract: Permanent, subject to performance. A probation period of six months will apply, which may be extended upon review. Hours of work: 35 hours per week. As work is deadline-driven you will need to be flexible and can expect that there may be some evening and weekend work. We strive to be a family-friendly workplace.
