3 Job Description Job title: Digital Marketing Executive What we are looking for We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to drive the growth of our business through increased online sales and targeted lead generation for our sales team. We re looking for someone who already has experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, who will take ownership of our ecommerce operations, and who is ambitious: there is plenty of scope for career progression! How you ll make a difference You ll be the central hub between our financial and sales teams, driving profitable growth through customer acquisition, and retention and development of existing customers. You ll be results-driven, with a real passion for numbers. Your focus on ROI will ensure we are utilising our marketing budgets as effectively and efficiently as possible. You ll be responsible for all aspects of our ecommerce operations, including affiliate marketing, organic and paid search, social media, marketing and optimisation of our online real estate. A great communicator, we ll be relying on you to make sure we re getting the best out of our specialist SEO and marketing agencies. You ll have a direct impact on online sales, and you ll also ensure our hungry team of account managers are fed with a healthy number of quantified leads who they can convert into sales through follow-up activities. You ll probably have a retail or ecommerce marketing background, able to demonstrate success in increasing customer acquisition and/or retention across a range of digital channels. You ll understand the importance of gross margins and be fastidious about ROI, measuring performance and acting responsively to drive profitable growth.

4 You ll have a good understanding of the technical concepts behind digital marketing and comfortable conversing with our development team and external agencies. You ll be results-driven and excited about being accountable for a significant annual marketing spend. You'll be articulate, bright and confident with the ability to build relationships internally and externally and influence others. You will possess a flexible attitude and an ability to adapt to the changing needs of an innovative and fast moving business. You will be a team player with the ability to work well with others including when under pressure. Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed. Manage relationships with external agencies (e.g. SEO agency, ESP) Design and produce timely and accurate reports, interpret data and recommend appropriate actions. Originate marketing collateral as required, working with internal design studio Support the development team by identifying market requirements for current and future products. 6 Person specification Qualifications / accreditations Essential Desirable Recognised marketing / ecommerce qualification/s Degree-level education Skills, knowledge, experience Essential Experience in digital marketing or (ideally) B2C ecommerce. Good understanding of online advertising models and how they impact on ROI. Demonstrable experience of main digital marketing channels. Advanced knowledge of Excel with good ability to present and interpret data. Results-driven, numerate and commercially aware, with a good understanding of key accounting concepts. Good understanding of technical concepts that underpin digital marketing. Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Good interpersonal and listening skills. The ability to meet targets, and prioritise workload. Desirable Experience of using HTML. Experience of using InDesign or desktop publishing packages. Responsibility for managing suppliers and budgets. Awareness of and involvement in social media.
