Justice Connect pursues this vision by providing access to justice through pro bono legal services to people experiencing disadvantage and the community organisations that support them. We also address injustice through law reform, policy work and legal education. Justice Connect is a dynamic and innovative organisation and has grown rapidly over the last four years. We are seeking a Communications Manager to play a key role in the implementation of Justice Connect s development and engagement strategy aimed at developing our sustainability, building our public profile and putting our clients stories at the heart of our work. The position is responsible for managing our communication channels, the production and promotion of Justice Connect s publications, including our website and other online communications, for managing the brand and for collaboration across programs. The position is responsible for managing our communication channels, the production and promotion of Justice Connect s publications, including our website and other online communications, for managing the brand and for collaboration across programs. Play a lead role in the implementation of a communications and publications strategy for Justice Connect Develop and maintain strategic internal & external partnerships to increase the effectiveness and impact of Justice Connect s communications Implement systems for proactively managing, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of communications strategies and tools Manage the strategic development of Justice Connect s digital presence, including through monitoring and analysing website and social media analytics and advising Justice Connect staff on maximising digital potential Keep website content up to date and appropriate, manage improvements to website functionality, and train and support staff to manage content Manage the strategic development of Justice Connect s social media presence and manage day-to-day social media activities Oversee the production of external publications including newsletters, e-bulletins and Annual Reports Lead on the collation and promotion of case studies and client stories (printed and e-format) Research and write copy for publications 1 As a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) Justice Connect is able to offer staff generous salary packaging options. 4 Manage Justice Connect s brand. Develop and monitor brand guidelines and key messages, ensuring consistent and effective branding in all external communications Build internal capacity through advising, supporting and training staff in relation to external communication strategies and branding Produce marketing materials for stakeholders, including potential donors Lead on the development of publicity materials (printed and e-format) for Justice Connect s activities Provide support to the Engagement & Development team in delivering the organisation s engagement, fundraising and communications goals, including through use of Justice Connect s Customer Relationship Management system Work with the Director, Engagement & Development and others to support the development, coordination and success of profile raising, fundraising activities and events. Support the Director, Engagement & Development and external media consultant to manage proactive and reactive media engagement Manage external consultants and contractors and supervise the work of staff and volunteers assisting with any of the above Manage publications and website related budgets as well as specific project budgets Perform other duties as directed and necessary to the successful delivery of the role This job description outlines the current duties and responsibilities of the position. Qualifications & technical skills Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, arts or a related field or demonstrated comparable work experience Website content management experience (preferably with Drupal) Highly accomplished skills in all Office software Desktop publishing and design skills (preferably with Adobe suite of products) Experience developing and using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) Sound and video editing skills (desirable) Experience, knowledge, skills & attributes The successful candidate must believe in the core values of Justice Connect and be driven by our mission of access to justice through pro bono.
