Typically large internet service providers. Often prefers a tailored solution of their own DC design, construction. Tend to design, build and own their DC in-house together with sub suppliers. A concept for bigger players who outsource their DC business. Often prefers to integrate the majority of their Data Centre operation to one or few locations. DCOs are offering tailored DC s solution based on customer profile built for a few tenants. A concept for players who sees IT as a support function to the core business. Often prefers a modular solution offered by Co- Location Operators like Telecity and Equinix. The Co-Location Operators act as landlords serving multiple tenants.
